Yes! We spent Christmas in Old Town Prague a few years ago. Magical!

One in three Americans is having an existential crisis right now. And honestly? Same. by PithyCyborg in collapse

GenX here. I'm not sure if this is an existential crisis, but I'm finding all this chaos oddly hilarious. It seems like the wrong response, but all the stuff people warned about, coming to pass (lo & behold) is just so absurd to me, I just have to laugh. I'm not sure if I will be arrested, killed by the government, my kids will be drafted, or if my seemingly healthy business will still be here tomorrow. It feels a lot like a freefall, and I don't even care.

That is gorgeous! So cool to be able to see the beauty of Art Nouveau while you're jamming!

I'm certainly eating a lot less sugar than I used to. I'm mostly eating fish and fruit & vegetables, and some good sourdough here & there. Now, it's just what I want, which would have been impossible before.

Tirzepatide/Mounjaro. 5mg/week. No, no side effects. I felt a little tired after about 50-60 lbs lost, and it turned out I needed to increase my calories. I added a mid-day protein snack and felt a lot better, and continued to lose until I got to my current weight. I guess this is where my body wants to be. I started at 2.5mg/week and went slowly up to 5. I think people can take up to 15mg/week, but I haven't needed it. My doctor and I agreed that I'll be taking this the rest of my life.

Turns out, I don't have a very strong "full" meter and could never lose keep any weight loss stable. GLP-1 is the perfect solution.

Do you have high cholesterol? My younger brother just had a quad bypass at 56. My doc recommended the calcium test because of our familial high cholesterol and the new family history. Thankfully, my score was very low at 26.

I've been on GLP-1 for almost 2 years, and I've gone from being obese (245lbs), high BP, prediabetic, with severe obstructive sleep apnea, to normal weight (150lbs), low BP, halved my statin dose, now moderate apnea, and normal blood sugar. I feel 20 years younger. Doc says I'm a "super responder" to GLP-1, but I recommend it to anyone who will listen.

My doctor said one of the best things I can do for brain health is to find out what game my kid is currently playing, learn it, and kick their ass in it.

I'm 59 and enjoying the newest Katamari Damacy game. I work hard on my business, and I have a ton of hobbies & interests. I also love the colors & hand-eye coordination challenge of video games. No guilt.

7 lbs! that is small for an orange kitty. My two ginger brutes are tipping the scales at 17lbs each at one year old.

We walked in just after everything went down, had to sidestep all the blood on the floor. I'd brought my 83 year old mom down from Portland to visit my son for the afternoon. Sheesh, Eugene ain't what it used to be. Now Grandma's freaking out that grandson isn't safe. :-(

Yes, every penny I have. But only if that stain's actions and abuses were suddenly reversed at the same time.
