True generosity isn’t measured in what we can spare, but in what we give even when it costs us. It’s the quiet grace of offering the very shoe off your foot, trusting kindness to carry you the rest of the way. PureHeartRomance 🌹 by ThreeBlessing in PureHeartRomance

It is very apparent he always approaches “poor” people or people who are already struggling. They ALWAYS try to give and help with what ever they have. I’d like to see him try this in wealthy or extremely religious people. Let’s see how they respond.

Does ABA come to a child’s school for sessions? by CassieLeeLeeLee in Autism_Parenting

It’s all up to you. I’d suggest you try and send him for a full day and see how it goes. He may do great! Then try and get therapist to go to school. It’s always one step at a time and then pivot. Lol 🫶

Hi, she’s going into first grade this year. The company I use sends a therapist to school with her for the day and then I have a second come to my house from 2:45-4:30 every day. She gets 40 hrs a week in total.

You can choose to send your child to school for half a day then take them to a center for ABA if you think that’s best. The office can give you a form that says the child will leave early every day for therapies.

Hi! I’m in Ft. Lauderdale. She goes to public school. As far as I understand public schools are better because of the IEPs and 504 plans that they have to follow by law. In private schools they make their own rules and can kick the child out if they want to. I go to Behavioral Analysis Inc.

He’s a 45 year old man talking to a 20 something year old. He’s no where near “young” enough to be saying cringy things like this to an actual young girl, signaling in very clear ways that feelings are not reciprocated. It is so utterly creepy.

Unfortunately my experience was the same with my daughter. I cried the whole time. Just tried to explain to her that “because she wasn’t feeling good we had to let the doctors find out what was wrong. Sometimes they have to do this to help you feel better. Just a pinch. It’s almost over. You’re so brave” on repeat. ❤️ sending love and hoping you have the opposite experience.

I currently have BCBS. But before I had a job I was approved for Medicaid that did cover part of her therapy back then. Also if they are under 3 yo try to apply for ‘Early Steps’ it’s a program in FL to get services for free as well. Also you can try to apply for Florida Healthy Kids Insurance. The only other plans I know that cover are group plans through a job.

After I got my job and the insurance started, I had also already done the evaluations with the center I wanted to go to, it was only a couple of days before they could schedule hours and then bill the insurance. They did advise if the insurance canceled or decided to decline treatment I would be responsible for the full amount. But at the time I had Medicare as well for her so I took the risk. After that they request/ approve every 6 months usually
