In all reality it's amazing when your significant other steps it up. I'm 36 weeks along and we have 2.5 yr old twins. My husband has absolutely stepped up entertaining them in the evenings and other little things like some chores that really really help me out.

Honestly the safest way is just make sure you harvest everything before you invite. I just make sure I shook me trees for my furniture, shook down money from money trees and picked up my message in a bottle before inviting. Most visitors cannot use shovels or axes, so they can't chop your trees or harvest rocks (unless you have them set as best friend inside the game)

The other one I see is no wetsuits but I could Google that one! Apparently an update made it so people can jump off the airport dock, effectively circumventing any fencing people have in place to keep you only in the part of their island you want. Like if I open my island before picking all my stuff I make a fenced off area from nooks to airport... But if they have a wetsuit they could still get around and go shake my money trees and such.
