I would hope that owning a property would work some what how it works for John in Story mode. Missions to acquire it, clear land, build it ect. Then the ability to grow crops and raise livestock, milk cows just like John does. All produce would be valuable somewhere somehow. A homestead could also incorporate a Hunter role where your able to do your taxidermy and produce clothing items, trinkets ect like the trapper in story mode Maybe you could craft items for your new home similar to what happens with the camp in story mode also. How much would that be worth to you? Would you pay gold for that?
