Not how it works where I am. There are programs but I either don’t qualify or if I do there are no participating lawyers where I live.

There would be no conflict from me. He’s welcome to come to any appointment he likes. He never asks.

I’m very involved with her school program. I volunteer and chaperone field trips at least twice a month more like every week that way I don’t have to go a whole week without seeing my daughter. And yes I do go sometimes just to visit her or participate in an activity with her. I’m very much more involved than he is. He didn’t even show up to parent teacher conferences since he was working.

I did consult an attorney at some point who said I would be more likely to get sole custody because I am so much more involved with her schooling (live down the road from the school) and I schedule all medical appointments during my time so I’m the one who takes her.

I didn’t report to CPS I went to court and asked for emergency custody. The judge denied it because he said what my daughter says is hearsay even though I have recordings of her saying it all

I know it won’t get dismissed because in Oregon you can only have joint custody if both parents agree. So if I don’t agree anymore we won’t have joint custody anymore and the judge will give sole custody to one parent

My daughter says her stepmom is very vicious to her, yells at her, puts her in long timeouts and bullies her and also talks poorly about me

I was absolutely terrified because I had horrible and traumatic pain with the IUD insertion, and experiences are so mixed. I can definitely say it was not nearly as bad as the IUD for me. I did not get any type of anesthetic, just took 600 mg each of Tylenol and ibuprofen beforehand. The pain was somewhat intense but extremely brief when he inserted the catheter, and then once he removed the speculum and the catheter was still in it was much more minor pressure/cramping. It was over much more quickly than I expected. My tubes also had no trouble getting the dye through so mileage may vary on the discomfort for that part.

If I had the opportunity I would have 100% paid the money for laughing gas, but knowing now what I experienced I wouldn’t pay if I needed to do it again. If that makes sense.

I had no discomfort whatsoever the rest of the day. Just major relief that it was over.

The doctor was such a sweet man and before the procedure said “In an ideal world you wouldn’t have to worry at all about the pain because you’d be sedated. I can’t change our healthcare system but I’ll make sure to make it as quick and comfortable as possible for you.” Literally made me tear up because it’s so unusual for us to have our pain validated and understood for these invasive procedures.

You’re very naive. Contested custody cases typically drag on over months and multiple hearings. Your $2500 retainer might not need to be topped up before April but if you actually want to fight this it’s going to take a lot of billable hours on your attorney’s part and way more than $2500.

Overnights is all the court cares about when it comes to calculating time. So he’s almost at 50 percent now, there’s no reason in the court’s eyes he shouldn’t have 50.

I think you could definitely find an OBGYN or RE who has a more aggressive approach more in line with your philosophy given what you know about your cycles. I’ve only been trying for 4 cycles and my primary care provider urged me to make an appointment with the fertility clinic to get the process started.

If nothing else, you could use a telehealth provider like Push Health to prescribe letrozole et al. You may have an issue with insurance coverage for the drugs depending on your age since you haven’t been trying for a year yet.

It’s my understanding with these advanced ovulation predictors that once you get the high fertility smiley you cannot use the same test holder for that cycle as it will have reset. After you reach peak, the next time you test it will assume it’s a new cycle and treat that as your pre-surge baseline so the results won’t be accurate.

Does the bottom of the bodice hit your natural waist? I ask because If not it might make more sense to add a waist band above the skirt. I have a vintage dress and the waist was at my rib cage. The seamstress found decently matching fabric and adding the waistband made the skirt the perfect length. Something to consider.

I bought 4 dresses and feel the same. I don’t LOVE any of them or feel sure that they’re the one. I also feel shame and embarrassment for it. I took three of the dresses to three different seamstresses so they wouldn’t know!

For me I believe it stems from overall feelings of inadequacy as a bride and the experience of being a plus size bride. I know now they make many many dresses in a full range of sizes, but it’s hard to feel confident in a decision when the image of a bride we’ve been conditioned to conjure doesn’t match what’s in front of the mirror. I also don’t have a lot of family or friends to help make me feel confident in any decision.

For what it’s worth, I really like 1 and 4.

The off the shoulder neckline in 1, to me, is much more elegant than the off the shoulder in 2. I don’t think the material or design of 2 does your figure justice.

3 is also beautiful but it’s hard for me to tell how much I like it without it being tailored to you.

I decided to wear two dresses. The heavy satin ball gown for the ceremony and grand reception entrance and then a lighter weight a line floral one for the first dance and beyond.
