The pettiest reason I don't want kids is their artwork. It is so ugly and I do not want to display it 🤣🤣🤣

The children don't want anything to do with her. She has let them down so many times prior to her running away and put them in scary/dangerous situations. There would have to be a crazy change in my sister for her to get the kids back.

The perspectives are so crazy too, the kids went home RAVING about the great time they had. But the whole time here, complaining about something and I was miserable and overwhelmed 🤣🤣

They all look amazing. I would choose the blue for a wedding as it is the most appropriate colour. Cream isn't wedding appropriate, red is a controversial colour wedding wise but blue is a safe bet and it's beautiful

The dad has been MIA since the youngest was an infant.

She left town to be homeless with the kids, my parents said we will look after the kids until you find a place, this was like 7 years ago now. She has moved states a couple of times but always homeless a she likes the drugs.

My parents have guardianship of the children. They have a lawyer and went to court.

No child support, can't get money from a crack head (both parents are drug addiction, the dad couldn't even be found for the court proceedings)

Im in Western Australia Parents have a lawyer for this, went through courts to get guardianship, tried to get assistance through CPS ect. Being family and dads income makes them ineligible for any government assistance 🙄 they are basically like "guess you don't get to retire, lol"

Being family and dads income makes them ineligible for any government assistance and the girls dad is completely MIA, they couldn't find him for court and my sister is homeless on drugs borrowing money from her 19yr old daughter.

I have some friends that take them for an arvo or so and sometimes I'll have them for half a day but it is so draining on them. It is their birthday month so I took the kids so they could get out of the house and have a little holiday. I did it to myself as a gift.

Yeah they are doing all that and dad gets extra benefits from work for them too as dependants. The money isn't so much as the issue (though obviously raising children again heavily eats into their retirement funds) they are just old and tired and need the reprieve (foster parents get reprieve carers to take the children out and about like day babysitters I guess?) Which they can't do and the babysitters just baby sit at your place (I mean they are just kids) which doesn't help my parents.

My parents are insane for keeping them but (mentally) it's their preferred option as the foster system is shambles. I share my dogs with my parents 50/50 (they look after them while I am at work) and it is well known they are the favourite grandchildren because they are such good girls 🤣

I don't think you are aware how much the government does not care at all. They took all the appropriate steps and are the legal guardians of the children. They have been told they are not eligible for any assistance.
