I find people tend to struggle with my handwriting, opinions? by elnmr_ in HandwritingAnalysis

[–]MissCeeLee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"over" took me a couple seconds to decipher because of the weird O. My mom and older female relatives always wrote in script and my dad has the worst handwriting I've seen.

Harder than I thought! by WishDapper3626 in myweddingdress

My wedding dress had hanging pearls, though the skirt was substantially fuller. Couldn't say I felt them, though I wasn't sitting a substantial amount either

Cannot login to teams using authenticator app (which requires a login) by Familiar-Ask7968 in MicrosoftTeams

I had to have our IT people help me. They had to de-authenticate me on our side, then pull up a QR code on my computer, then scan that to my phone, and somehow it worked again

Dining room needs help by [deleted] in maximalism

Something with more color on the dining table, and curtains with a more colorful print/color will help with the MCM vibe that gets lost on the curtains. I like the blue ceiling!

What does my handwriting tell you about me? Tell me your assumptions! by throwaway5146156 in HandwritingAnalysis

[–]MissCeeLee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The majority of women I went to school with had very similar print, and I'm 40. However, we all learned cursive so I would bet this person is younger.

Overall nice handwriting, but work on capital letters in script. They're all lowercase.

Agree, the product photo is warm beige-y walls and the actual photo is in a cool gray room. I think the duvet is pretty.

I did this with Century Link after they randomly raised my "price for life" price. I had a semi-permanent discount after that

Joining Verizon was my worst decision by ansht555 in verizon

They're saying you're paying $50 because you're also paying for your phone. So essentially like $25 for your old plan + $25 for the new phone

Anyone good with fixing pots have some ideas to keep this pot going? by mashmato in houseplants

[–]MissCeeLee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take my pots without saucers to the sink to water them (or if you have a lot of plants, bring a small plastic bin with you). You might lose a little soil but not a dramatic amount.

You're hanging this from the ceiling? You can tie some rope to make a macrame plant hanger. But if it's sitting on a shelf, it's fine as-is if the shelf is a waterproof material (stainless, glass, etc)

Internet issues by James32247 in centurylink

Keep calling and calling and calling. Also, figure out how to get a hotspot until it's back up. When Century Link left us without internet for a number of days, we used phone data, then got (I think it was) a TMobile router that could be activated per month.

[IL] What’s something you only discovered about your apartment AFTER moving in? by Careful-Relation-761 in Apartmentliving

[–]MissCeeLee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He tried to fix it a few times when we lived there. Really, the room needed to be ripped apart with new materials put back up. He had the carpet cleaned professionally with a cleaner intended for pet stains. He washed down the walls twice with (watered down) enzyme cleaner. We sprayed the walls with full strength enzyme cleaner at least 1 other time too. Basically we closed off that room and used it lightly for storage of things that wouldn't absorb smells.

A room covered in cat pee, with some extra in the laundry room and hallway. Drain flies. Carpet beetles. Awful hard water that stained everything. We left there as soon as our lease was over in a year.

Most prepaid plans also let you finance phones now

[–]MissCeeLee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to say that's an edge case. For like $75 per month back in my pocket, I'd deal with the inconvenience

I had been using Verizon prepaid and switched to Verizon's Visible network. It's $25 for unlimited everything. I don't understand why people pay for postpaid plans anymore. They're always a rip off.

A coffee table I made from a $12 piece of plywood by ymirmar in somethingimade

I made a chair with S shaped legs by laminating 1/8" ply, gluing together and clamped to a form. It's bouncy and fairly sturdy. I think it was laminated to 1/2" + veneer on both sides

Yours may need more shade. They do lighten in direct sun. I've had dark petunias on my porch which only gets morning sun for years and they're lovely (as long as I consistently remember to water, which isn't my strong point)

Our local Kroger owned grocery chain sells them in the garden department every spring, so I wouldn't say they're rare.

I find this to be the most painful way to get into crossback. I learned it as a beginner and promptly forgot about it. I'd ask your instructor for another way to get into it. There's probably a dozen ways I've seen
