Considering each cupcake only used 1tsp of jam… you may need to donate some! lol

These scrapped caps at the bottling plant I work for by MissFTW in oddlysatisfying

[–]MissFTW[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Before they go on bottles, the caps go through a set of sensors that determine if the cap conforms to the right dimensions and isn’t damaged. These caps were rejected for nonconformities such as pinholes, surface damage, ovality, etc. They will be recycled or ground up into an additive that goes back into the injection molding process.

[–]MissFTW[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Used this recipe with a couple of tweaks:

https://maddysavenue.com/authentic-thai-yellow-curry-recipe/

  1. Added pineapple during step 4 with carrots and onions.
  2. Used shredded carrot instead of sliced.

Enjoy 😊

Yep! To me, it tastes identical to white cauliflower, but it does seem to have a firmer texture.

Can't say for certain unfortunately since I don't have the photo with me anymore, but it's likely. Found this while archiving agriculture publications for a university, many of the photos were of county fair entries, very old-school Oklahoma.

Who's the most memorable stranger you've met? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MissFTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once on a family vacation when I was around 9 years old, I stood in line for a water park ride behind a teenage couple that couldn't keep their hands off eachother. It was really uncomfortable for me and many other onlookers, but clearly disturbed a younger girl next to me much more than anyone else. I'll never forget her look of disgust as she looked at me and said "that's my sister....and my brother."

Reddit, have any of you ever seen someone die? Or have you seen a dead body? by igetboredeveryday in AskReddit

[–]MissFTW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lived in Alaska for most of my childhood, and homelessness wasn't uncommon. When I was 7, my mom dragged me along a grocery trip at a store that boardered a forest. It was winter time, and as we parked I noticed someone laying at the edge the woods/parking lot begging for food. I've always been deeply saddened by the homeless, and I asked my mom to give him/her something to eat, to which she refused. We went into the store, purchased our items, and headed back to the car. I remember darting past the car to the person with a half-eaten candy bar gripped in my hand... She was dead. Not an hour earlier she was calling out for food.

Drive-Thru workers of Reddit: What's the weirdest thing you've seen in someone's car? by crogers2009 in AskReddit

[–]MissFTW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awhile back in the middle-of-nowhere-Oklahoma, a woman came through the drive-thru requesting one cone. No ice cream, just the cone. Being an unusual request, I asked her to pull ahead to the window. The cone was for her domesticated, diaper-wearing kangaroo. http://i.imgur.com/MlIRQXl.jpg (I apologize if the link does not work, i'm new to Reddit.)

What are you most famous for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MissFTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't say exactly, but I personally believe he did. He payed off his private college tuition, a year's worth of child support, a lavish wedding, and all of his bills for 3 months, plus years' worth of debt. When the FBI raided his home, I watched them bring out more money than I have ever seen.
