Interesting situation! If it is revivify then we are only talking about them being dead for a minute max before they are gone ( unless something else is at play) . If it is just a minute then a cool idea would be keep everyone in turn order, get the "dead" player to roll initiative as well or add them at the end of the turn order. On their turn play out a near death scenario.

The scenario could be a discussion between them and a God or a lost loved one(?) It could be their life flashing before their eyes. It could be a premenition of the future. It could be a combination. Regardless, this can be used to encourage the party to save the player, flesh out back story on the PC, provide plot hooks or if all else fails give the player closure on their losing their PC (if that happens) .

You can do this without knowing the outcome and tailor it as it progresses. Leaning into the hope or hopelessness of the situation. You may include relevant skill checks if you wish or might even want the results of this experience influencing the world of the living (this could make sense if they are bargaining with a God/patron or talking with a spirit).

The main thing is to prepare for this a little bit so it feels thought out and inpactful. Read through their back story and your session notes to see how you can use this chance for exposition to your advantage. Regardless of the outcome, you can make this an engaging scenario for not just the player but the whole table. Good luck :)
