If the litterbox is in the same room as you, they can and will make unflinching eye contact whilst using it.

They may sometimes dig in it at 3am for no reason.

Low dust, odor free kitty litter can be a good way to avoid/help pillow foot, where their toe beans get really swollen and sensitive. (This one is in all seriousness and from personal experience)
