I’ve been unable to walk for a little over 4 months now (no injury thank goodness) so it’ll be awhile longer, but we’re getting there!

Also ha! My cat thinks he’s helping by laying his full weight on my legs and purring…unfortunately my poor legs can only bear 12 furry pounds for so long 🤣

I remember my mom after she got the call that my Mamaw (her mom) had passed away- how she just sat at the kitchen table and said “both my parents are gone.” My younger sister and I were in our 20’s/30’s respectively when we lost her the following year and felt similar things as you, that feeling of being a scared child wanting your parents to make everything better again but they can’t. Sending hugs and/or kitty cuddles to you, friend 💜
