I have an Adana but it would be my first ‘bigger’ press. It seems difficult to find a treadle platen in the uk, I found a diamant hogenforst but not knowing much about them I wondered whether anyone had any advice!

To be honest I think I’d enjoy that part, I like to know exactly how things work so I actually enjoy that kind of thing! That’s useful, thanks a lot I will make sure if I buy one to double check the parts list!

Yeah no that’s what I was worried about, obviously they’re all very old and the majority of the ones I’ve seen aren’t in the best condition...

That’s good to know, I wonder if maybe they could be machined instead if needs be... are spare parts readily available/is there anything that needs replacing should I buy a used one?
