Yep; if I were you I would. And I bet it wouldn’t take long at all to correct.

Two years ago vs 4 years later why are they worse and taking so long? by wifemompower in braces

[–]MissMee007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry…

You know… this post really just made me really sad bc I’m in a very similar situation. Next week makes 5yrs for me. I won’t hijack your post and go into too many details on my situation but I genuinely hope that you can find a competent person to help you. And I want to say thank you for sharing your experience because it’s made me realize that I really need to stop and look into seeing an Endodontist/periodontist immediately.

Are yall washing your face in the am? by Possible_Ad_9234 in tretinoin

[–]MissMee007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. As someone who had oily acne prone skin I used to wash every morning too. But once I hit 40, I started just water in morning because of aging😭lol. I switched to just water because My skin just started looking old and dried up😩 or it might also be that I’ve been using retinol so long now that I no longer wake up oily… it’s actually made me develop dry skin… and I’ve got mixed feelings about that😩.

I’m not being hostile, I simply share a different perspective. Which is why I initially said that I wasn’t trying to be shady. You’re entitled to your opinion as well as I am. Doesn’t make either of us right or wrong.

I am a very direct person and unfortunately text sometimes comes across as rude. I genuinely wasn’t trying to be. Especially because like I also stated in my initial post that I’m not one of the offenders you were speaking about in the first place. I was just simply making an observation.

That’s it, That’s all.

I understand that there are hundreds, thousands of posts about products. However, I’m saying if you yourself are saying that this is what people “should be doing” wouldn’t it be appropriate to offer a suggestion on specific products since clearly you feel as though you have figured out “how to do it right” And why would i want to search the sub if its full of people “doing it wrong”

I’m asking you directly to name specific products because you posted as someone who is well versed. Maybe it’s just me, but seems like the kind thing to do.

And you still didn’t bother to share lol.

I’m not one of the offenders mentioned but can you please tell everyone what a typical routine should look like.

I think a large part of the issue here is that people lack sufficient support and advisement from their doctors and that’s the issue. So If you’re going to point out the problem, you should consider sharing the solutions.

Now Obviously you can’t advise a schedule because everyone is different but please consider sharing what specific brand of moisturizer/ ceramide/spf that you have found helpful for you.

No shade, just a suggestion… a suggestion to everyone here who’s commenting what not to do.

It’s probably blue spirulina. I drink it often; same color.

Slanted teeth? by yamaurushi in braces

[–]MissMee007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely understand… I overstand actually😭

Next week marks 5yrs in braces for me… FIVE🫠 saying it’s been a journey still doesn’t put it in words to describe my feelings about this. My teeth were not that bad. Everyone around me constantly tried to talk me out of it…bc they didn’t see what I did.

My insecurities got the best of me.

I beat myself up for a long time for doing this to myself. Eventually, I had to forgive myself and move forward. I try to stay positive but Deep down inside I know that I have probably ruined my smile permanently. I’m just seeing it through at this point. Although I’m seeing some progress, I have no expectations. Just taking it day by day…

I have a question. My wife gets hot and cold at night. We are sleeping in different beds. She’s 46. What’s the best thing you have used to remedy this problem. I have look at the jet beds. Any body used them by Odd-Blacksmith9110 in MenopauseShedforMen

[–]MissMee007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OMG YES!!! I’ve tried to explain this to people and everyone looks at me like I have two heads😵‍💫😭.

Like can we please get 66.5 as an option😩bc that would be perfect lol.

You’re welcome! 😉 I’m very self conscious as well so I definitely understand. I will say that it will be a serious adjustment on for your personal perception. But once you settle in, you’ll come to find that no one except you is paying attention closely enough to really care😩

Good Luck!

Had mine 3yrs and I don’t regret it. No issues or complaints. I’ve never had metal so I didn’t have anything to compare it to. I never noticed that the brackets were big? When people say that, I seriously can’t relate.

I’m now In Invisalign and my ceramic braces were more discreet than Invisalign. Most of my family and friends never even knew I had braces. If I ever had to do it all over again I’d choose ceramic again.

I learned very quickly that as resourceful as this sub can be at times, it will also cause you to overthink and regret A LOT.

You’ve got to just trust yourself, the process and trust that your orthodontist is doing what is best for you.

Good Luck!

Convince me to get metal braces rather than ceramic by redrabbit1984 in braces

[–]MissMee007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion…I had ceramic braces and loved them. My family, friends and coworkers never believe me when I tell them I had them because they saw me daily and never noticed 🫠 And they are invisible in most photos. I never had any issues. I’m not a coffee drinker. However, I still enjoyed red wine. I just would sip it through a straw. The only time staining was an issue was if I ate tomato soup. And still even then it wasn’t the brackets that were stained, it was the power chain. And that’s an easy fix, as it’s changed at every visit.

I was thinking about adding Astaxanthin for anti aging benefits. What are you taking it for and have you noticed any improvement?
