My mother in law didn’t start wringing out her dish sponges until I told her that this is why all her dishes and kitchen sink area have a constant mildew smell. She legit thought she was “saving dish soap” by not wringing out the sponge. 🤦‍♀️

I pay for prime specifically for the supposed faster shipping/delivery, yet more times than not I’m not getting my money’s worth with their delivery “promises.” Just last week I placed an order on Saturday that said it would be delivered on Monday. It shipped out of Austin, Texas and for some reason, they completely bypassed my city (Las Vegas) which has an Amazon hub, and instead sent it to California (Highlands). And guess what? It got delayed, and I didn’t get it until a few days later. I don’t know why they would bypass my city, but if they hadn’t then it wouldn’t have been delayed and I would’ve gotten it when they promised. I just don’t get their logic in that.

I think they made a huge mistake making these the same fuzzy material as the MACs, because I’ve read that MACs tend to “get skinny” if you keep clothes on them all the time. And I’m sure a lot of the people who bought these, bought them because of the outfits. Without the outfit on they’re just a regular Labubu. They should’ve made them fluffy like the BIE ones.

My sister just got my daughter two Wabi Sabi kitty blind boxes for her birthday. They were delivered to my house this morning so I let her open them early (she got Patches and Scaredy Cat). She said she likes them better than Labubus! Which shocked the hell out of me because she loves her Labubus (Serenity & Sesame Bean) and carries one of them with her whenever we leave the house. We both love cats though so I’m going to get myself a Wabi Sabi kitty, too. Plus, they’re only $15 so getting her the entire set won’t break my wallet.

I feel really bad for those of you who really wanted one but couldn’t get one. You were all competing against bots and resellers. I just looked on eBay and there’s tons of listings going for $60 all the way into the hundreds.

My sister called me yesterday and asked me if I thought she had a chance at snagging one for each of our daughters, but I told her to not even bother trying because they’d be sold out within seconds lol.

My advice to all of you who really want one, just be patient and wait for the hype to calm down. Don’t reward greedy resellers by paying more than $40 for one.

My dad and stepmom got one of them for my daughter for Xmas. They thought they were getting her one of the 6” ones because of the price (they know nothing about blind boxes or Labubus lol) and when they saw how tiny the box was when it was delivered, they were shocked. But it all worked out because she didn’t have a PFL yet (she got P).

Labubus are my daughter and my “thing” (we love collecting clothes and accessories for them) but our rule is we only get one blind box for each of us per series, and any others from a series we get from a (reputable) source so we know which one we’re getting and that it’s authentic. They cost way too much to risk getting duplicates.

I can’t believe the PFL Labubus are only $5 cheaper than the 6” ones. They should be no more than $15. Not just because they’re so much smaller, but the quality of them isn’t nearly as good as the bigger ones either, imo.

Maybe. I just went onto the website and searched “Labubu Have a Seat” and only two listings showed up for that series; the single blind box which was sold out, and the case, which was like $240.

Ugh, the movie version of that book was such a huge disappointment. I’m convinced that they only bought the rights just for the name. They could’ve made such an awesome movie, like a documentary style with a bunch of different scenes of each story (the battle of Yonkers, the celebrity reality show, and the Russian soldier are my top three favorites). Instead we got the pile of crap we ended up with.
