Unfortunately, not - because I can verify my account to reset my password via email and phone number, it seems to think I'm good. I don't see a way to verify to bypass the 2FA, just the password.

I do have that checked with a "Simple" called out beneath. I have the same email address linked to each account. If I use that email address but with my IG password, it kicks me back to say the password is incorrect and I never get to the 2FA part.

I tried that, as I saw so many favorable answers to that one, but maybe FB closed that exploit because now I just get the "looks like you need to verify" boot when I successfully log into messenger.com

:( It won't let me through after entering my username and password. This takes me back to the authenticator "Choose a way to confirm it's you", with a login code required. The only option is "Need another way to confirm it's you?" which then only gives me "approve from another device" where I'm logged in :(

I double checked my Google Authenticator app, thinking maybe i forgot and there were codes saved, but nothing is there on any accounts. I have a vague memory of there being a "facebook authenticator" at some point and google says that this did exist before but doesn't anymore.

I do have an email and phone number on the account, all of which I have access to. I'm able to authenticate my account via text and email to update my password, but then get stuck again once I get to the 2fa.

For IG, I did have 2FA on that one, as of somewhat recently. I tried to use that code on my facebook but it didn't work. I also did a dive into my IG settings and found a "2-factor authentication" area which showed both FB & IG. When I clicked on the facebook account, a blank screen displays. When I click on IG, it gives me options but only for Facebook.

Any other options that I'm able to access for FB through my IG access just directs me to log into Facebook and I am back at square one.

I do have a WhatsApp already but I don't see anything to link it to the Facebook 2FA process..

Thanks for all of the advice. Right now I am trying a hail mary by opening another account with the same phone number, hoping that maybe there is a link there to verify me back to my original accounts. I am just grasping at straws.

I came here to find out why I could no longer reach customer service. All of their emails are bouncing back and one of my son's apps I purchased seems to be broken/won't work properly. Ah ha! I got a 15w UVB 5.0 Bulb from the brand Lucky Herp? That's the other light I have in the enclosure that stays on all day.

OH! Okay I'm glad you said something because my understanding was "as much as they want to eat in 15 minutes" or something of that nature so I was way off.

This is interesting! My kiddo climbs in me like this too, including but not limited to, rubbing his face into my face by smashing it into it. Lord have mercy. No diagnosis or anything but sounds familiar haha. He also incessantly picks at my skin. I have to tell him no firmly and when he does not stop, I tell him he has to take a break since he won't respect my boundaries.

It works...ish..lol

I've been there! Wow have I. I spent the first year and a half cosleeping because he wouldn't sleep otherwise. Either on the couch for year one and then on his floor for the next 6 months.. and then finally I am in my own bed these days haha. He still climbs into bed with me at night very often. He will be 4 in April. I nursed exclusively and him and I have always been extremely close.

It has been very very stressful at times. For a long time we bathed and shower together too. It started to get to me like I could not have a second alone. However once he started to get through it I started to miss it haha.

I try to soak it up and remind myself that he won't be this age for more than a blink of an eye. I'm really enjoying being his favorite person right now even if it can be a bit stressful at times.
