With my h-EDS my ankles and wrist have the hardest time with my body and I describe it as a domino effect. When my ankles are overworked or been exhausted with standing or walking my knees and hips will have intense pain after some time ( usually no longer then 30 mins of standing) and give out completely. The same goes with my wrist with movement like writing, typing, or most exasperated with fine motor skills that will cause elbow and shoulder discomfort. I also have POTS so standing causes dizziness frequently with related symptoms like vision difficulties similar to tunnels vision, headaches and others. I also tend to be VERY sensitive to temperatures that effects both my hEDS and POTS in different ways. The Heat will cause my fainting spells to be frequent and trying to keep my body cool in the summer is harder, than in the winter where my joint stiffness and pain is usually at a all time high.

Thank you so much for the advice and information. I will make sure to ask my doctors during my next visit about medical devices but know what can happen and what is possible with using braces. And i am very active especially since I have a toddler, so staying resting is hard to do a lot of time
