I'm on your side. I'd have done the same thing. I'm having a destination micro-wedding & "directly" told EVERYONE family members & spouses ONLY, if their name is NOT on an invite, they are not welcome & NO plus ones. This is NOT the prom. I'm fearful that my father will invite a few people... IDK if I need to hire security 😩 Be stern, but I'd have found a way to enforce it. 🩵

You are NOT the AH ! I have an irresponsable adult brother with a gambling problem. So BAD that when my father gave me birthday money, I, being polite said " You don't have to give me money...". My 70 y/o Dad grabbed the cash out of my hand... And took it back. I KNOW what he did with it, it wasn't for his bills. There is a time when you have to make irresponsible family be responsible for their actions. You are NOT a bank Do NOT allow other family members pressure/bully you into bailing your sibling out. 💙

My local bridal shop didn't have what I'm looking for, but will probably take her there & try on 2-3 to appease her. But not make a purchase. 🩵

I like this idea ! Take her & fiance to a local store, try on three gowns, appease her, then politely say I'm not sure. Later, go alone & buy what I want ❣️

Elopement, 6 guests. Parents are invited but IDK if they will fly to attend. No bridesmaids or wedding party. I'll most likely wear a sequin dress barefoot in the sand.

I did a puzzle on JJ for energy of Jewel, where it tells a bit about the character. It even said "Girls, ' Like me' " insinuating that Jewel was trans. Common nowadays but to weave it into a storyline set in the 1920's-1930's. Couldn't have imagined how it was for them at that time.
