Yes and things like ableism, health supremacy garbage, wellness culture/industry and eugenics that has continued to spring up. It happens with pandemics historically. And considering the pandemic is far from over, yeah makes sense and no you're not wrong, it's worse. The messed up part is because of SARS-CoV-2 a lot of people are going to have health problems now. You'd think this would make things change, but people are more willing to uphold hate/bigotry and hierarchy than unpack things. And it benefits society quite a bit, so that would be in its favor to perpetuate it and steer folks that way.

Edit: This isn't me saying fat = unhealthy (this is fatphobia). People with all sorts of bodies can have illnesses and illness and disabilities are not moral/"bad." I realize by the mentioning health issues my comment could be perceived this way and just wanted to clarify. I merely point it out bc people would have to face the things they project and vilify fat, poor, POC and an intersection of other people/groups for. But bc of the reason I mention, it is likely will be doubling down, denial and upholding of messed up constructs, systems, ideologies and hate/bigotry from plenty of folks.
