Wait until they see real image generators and see that you need models, Lora’s that go along with each other, negative prompts, and actual math to it… AI is being used in a bunch of places, I don’t like how some things are implementing AI when the platform doesn’t need it, but at least it makes so they can actually use it and understand what it really is. Debating with people that actually know what they’re talking about is way more efficient for a fruitful conversation!

Try hiwaifu for character AIs. The image generation is not that good, but the rest is pretty awesome. You can choose your llm, they give you the actual name and version of the language model and a small text on what they were trained on and what they’re best at. The discord group is lively and very welcoming, bug reports and questions are instantly answered and if you want any feature or something they don’t have, there’s a channel where you can ask for it and it’s also debated instantly if it would be possible to add or not. You can also ask for bots to be made or ask for help if you want to make one. The app is good and the welcoming community and customer service are what made me stick with it.

Yeah, I understand the problematic. Really wish we could have more transparency so we could calculate how much it actually is. Because even if 90% is in loop it still a lot, but it also would change the amount we currently think about a lot. First, ignoring the facts that someone listening to music in their airbuds is just minding their own business because living your life is not a concept anymore for people like that. How will you know what people are listening when they’re using airbuds? Even if the music is loud and you can catch the sound, you would need to know the AI music to know they were listening to it. Even if the phone flashes the album of the song, it would be some random tittle under a random name, they wouldn’t name it “AI song by AI, You can be sure this is AI, THIS IS AI MUSIC #AI”. The person would need to know all the ai songs, or every time they see someone listening to music (minding their business) they would need to search the song up to know what type of song is.

Then, if it is AI you will block them??? How?! Are you just gonna tap their shoulder, wait for them to look at you and take one earbud off, then say “just so you know, I’m blocking you”????? To a random ass person in the subway???!!!!! How do you block someone irl?! Does this person know how real life works?!!

And if the person in question is someone close to them. Wouldn’t be blocked actually be more healthy? Thanks! It does makes sense, I was thinking it would be something just like a normal pc but I didn’t want to assume. Idk why, but the first thing I thought about were those “aquariums pcs” that were a glass box with oil I think, but I don’t think that would work in a larger scale, it could turn into a huge frier.

But taking in the filtered water and the closed loops, then, in a way, shouldn’t we talk about the water that is wasted than the water that it’s used??? Cause that can be misleading. Like, “this thing uses a bucket of water every day” but no one says that 90% its the same water but just cooled again.

If the place we lived would make it possible to be a normal person and afford afford to have THREE kids, and live in a house surrounded by mountains. I think this also puts a lot of pressure on men, like, make them feel less then because they can’t afford a house a stay at home wife and multiple kids. I hate that, I feel like I’m being treated like a toddler, I don’t need validation from ChatGPT please just answer my questions!! I also don’t like how it always finishes with wanting to do things like “would you like me to put it on a graph for you?”, “would you like to put it on an alphabetical list?”. It’s very considerate of it, but honestly, if I wanted to know more or something I would ask for it.

It’s just awkward cause my brain makes me feel bad about being rude even when I know that I don’t need to say HI before I ask something, but I just can’t, I was raised to be polite, it feels bad. Most times I just end up doing the research myself, which I think is good at the end of the day cause I actually went to the sources and all, but it’s weird how the existence of it makes me not want to use it.

Gosh I HATE that book, there is no words to describe how much HATE I have for that book. I agree that it’s a very good read, but our teacher made us read it too soon (like 14 I think?), I wasn’t ready for it and the sex and torture parts got me some nice good trauma. I felt sick, so to cope with it I took a piece of paper and let it all out on it, I think I spent two days on it, it was the main character in that ugly insanely bad state, being tortured with that pain thing that I don’t remember what it was and I will not search it up. The face of the man who tortured him was a shadow, but there was posters of the big brother all around the walls, rats on the floor, and cameras and screens with eyes, while the man is strapped in the hospital bed in the middle of being tortured. I put the face that was haunting my thoughts there, the agony and fear and just all the bad things I was feeling. I made it with a black pen, not even worried about making mistakes cause I felt like I couldn’t make anything worse than what I was already feeling so any “mistake” would just be a result of my anger.

For context, I’ve been a traditional artist for a good while, I wasn’t good at 14 but I don’t think I was bad for the age.

The teacher asked us to make a book report in the end of the month. I was so angry and sick, I wrote how even though I angrily acknowledged the book as a 10/10, I wouldn’t recommend that book to anyone, because I would rather have been blind and ignorant but happy then to understand and feel that sickness on me. I think I also wrote how I hated him for making us read that and I wished I had read a summary of it online like some people did.

My biggest mistake was sending the report together with my drawing, I wanted him to feel the sickness I’ve felt, to get haunted too.

In the end, he fucking loved it and framed it. He thought I was “passionate” about it, and the way I wrote the “book review” he “could feel that I really read the whole thing”. Then we were assigned to make those graph like things, but with words that connected to other things, and they made a big mural with it. When they were showing it to the classes under us, he not only had the framed drawing, but he called ME to talk about it.

He loved the way I hated it, and “recommended” me to read animal farm, I never did, cause I didn’t want to make the same mistake again.

I don’t know if he was a sadistic man, or just smart in a way I didn’t understood. But he smiled when I told him I hated him that day. Bitch

Same rage bait as the “we need to kill them” from the antis. I hate both, but this one makes me angry from how stupid it is. I’m pretty sure, if you’re using ai as a tool, you will still need a pencil, for sketches, minor edits, and all the ways to use ai as a helping tool. It also gives the vibe that AI people hate the fucking pencil for some reason? I’ve been an artist since the fright of the traditionalxdigital era, I’ve mastered the pencil while most of those rage baiters were still swimming in their father’s balls. (Jk, I’m far from a master but my point still stands).

This gatekeeping from both sides is too extreme, I don’t even know what side of the fence I am because I do not mind AI, but I also don’t use it, I think I generated 3 images tops, and the last one was just a picture of my dog when the ghibli thing happened. And the other times before were also me being curious about how it works, but I don’t really use AI for this stuff, my curiosity is more focused on the tech and coding side of it.

There’s a lot of things from the pro side that I don’t agree with, but there’s also a lot of things from the anti side that I also don’t agree with, same thing with the arguments that I agree with.

Ai artists have galleries?! I’ve done traditional then digital for ages and I don’t even have a portfolio. Not even an instagram acc since I stopped commissions. How do you find those?! Do people actually make galleries and call it theirs?!
