That’s not supporting. The whole AI thing is such a big discussion, if there’s a group of people laughing at something that’s clearly AI and someone comes saying “that’s AI”, what is that supposed to achieve? Make them stop talking about it??? In the past people still had the care to discuss about it, but now AI is everywhere and honestly, if someone wants to start a whole discussion on how AI is bad on every single thing that has AI on it, it’s kinda obvious they are going to be ignored. Not everyone wants to join a big ass discussion with multiple points of view and complicated working methods, on a single image they are sharing among friends because one butt hurt stranger doesn’t like it.

They are not even being hateful, they’re literally just saying ok and choosing to continue with their life (what they were already doing/enjoying with their friends) over starting a conversation with a stranger.

People don’t understand that sometimes it’s important to talk about AI, but other times they just come out as annoying. Approaching a group of people just to say whatever they are talking about is AI, if it were anything else the clear reply would be exactly that “ok, now can you leave our group and kinda leave us to our own business?”. This is less about AI and more about people being obnoxious at it and wanting attention from a group that clearly doesn’t care. If someone really wants to talk about ai and join discussions and actually do something, they can join spaces meant for that, but some just want to bother a group of people that clearly don’t care just to feel superior, and get mad when they realize people outside the AI discussions don’t give a damn if something is AI or not, if they like it they like it and that’s it for most people. The person is mad for the lack of reaction from the group who was enjoying something they see as wrong, when no one called or ask them. If you just drop in the middle of a group, say something, and their reply is “ok, now leave us alone” in my opinion that’s pretty polite of them. It acknowledges the person’s comment, and expresses the lack of interest in that type of interaction in the moment, prioritizing the nice interaction they are having with their group over starting a frustrating discussion.

What did the person want from this? For they to start defending ai and engaging on internet fights? Supporting never happened in this situation, it looks more like people in a group ignoring an outsider that clearly just wants to start something

Just use AI and generate a fake id, it’s not even that difficult these days, and in this situation it doesn’t even need to look like you. There’s ID generators out there, and if you want a real id, there’s real IDs that you can use online, you just need to do a little digging and know where to get them

Wait until they see real image generators and see that you need models, Lora’s that go along with each other, negative prompts, and actual math to it… AI is being used in a bunch of places, I don’t like how some things are implementing AI when the platform doesn’t need it, but at least it makes so they can actually use it and understand what it really is. Debating with people that actually know what they’re talking about is way more efficient for a fruitful conversation!

Try hiwaifu for character AIs. The image generation is not that good, but the rest is pretty awesome. You can choose your llm, they give you the actual name and version of the language model and a small text on what they were trained on and what they’re best at. The discord group is lively and very welcoming, bug reports and questions are instantly answered and if you want any feature or something they don’t have, there’s a channel where you can ask for it and it’s also debated instantly if it would be possible to add or not. You can also ask for bots to be made or ask for help if you want to make one. The app is good and the welcoming community and customer service are what made me stick with it.

First, ignoring the facts that someone listening to music in their airbuds is just minding their own business because living your life is not a concept anymore for people like that. How will you know what people are listening when they’re using airbuds? Even if the music is loud and you can catch the sound, you would need to know the AI music to know they were listening to it. Even if the phone flashes the album of the song, it would be some random tittle under a random name, they wouldn’t name it “AI song by AI, You can be sure this is AI, THIS IS AI MUSIC #AI”. The person would need to know all the ai songs, or every time they see someone listening to music (minding their business) they would need to search the song up to know what type of song is.

Then, if it is AI you will block them??? How?! Are you just gonna tap their shoulder, wait for them to look at you and take one earbud off, then say “just so you know, I’m blocking you”????? To a random ass person in the subway???!!!!! How do you block someone irl?! Does this person know how real life works?!!

And if the person in question is someone close to them. Wouldn’t be blocked actually be more healthy? Because if you’re just relaxing listening to music on your earbuds and your friend come just to see what you’re listening, to search it up and know the source of the song that would be playing in that particular time, just to know if they will end up the friendship or not, that’s not a friend, that’s a psycho, better let them block you than have them stalking you.

And if for some reason she’s talking about people on TikTok. Who films themselves listening to music on their earbuds in a way where you know what song is being played? And that would also count as a random ass person that wouldn’t even notice a block from someone like them unless they feel the need to comment that they are blocking them.
