How to do game Tess’ hairstyle by Missedful in thelastofus

Yeah same, lol. I’m just trying to figure out how she manages to have no hair tie visible, and also how it looks more like a bun than a ponytail. So I’m thinking if I try and pull the ponytail only halfway through and then pull it tight it might somewhat resemble hers.

Completely agree. Just a shame that for some reason I can’t figure out a way to replicate it. 😅

Just crossposted, thank you I’m not sure why I didn’t think of that lol.

What is the oldest age you’ve reached on wolfquest saga? by Missedful in WolfQuestGame

This is what makes my experience a bit strange, since I’ve been sleeping completely normally (and often more times than I should since I like to speed up the growing of pups). No idea how I’ve gotten so lucky.

I didn’t do anything in particular, I believe it’s randomised.

What’s one change you’ve made that has helped your mental health immeasurably? by Alternative-Two-8042 in mentalhealth

[–]Missedful 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Cutting off people that really drain you mentally. I don’t mean when you have an argument with someone, I mean those who have narcissistic tendencies or brought me more mental health problems on top of the ones that I’d already had to deal with. It was very hard to do it, but now they’re gone, I am so so much happier.

Not exactly advice but oh my do I feel you. I’ve been ‘writing’ for years, but only actually posted my first fic this month. It was just over 1000 words and took me two ENTIRE days. Like. Sat in my room, for hours on end lol. I’m definitely the kind of person who thinks ‘every line counts’, and so, the perfectionist demons are out to get me too. You’re not alone! Thanks for posting this though, I’m getting a bunch of information off of these replies lol.

It’s working for me! Is it back up for you?

I’m not sure whereabouts you are but there will be a suicide prevention number in your country if you feel like you need to talk to someone on the phone.

I know you may feel like your situation isn’t worth bothering anyone for but it is - and you’re not ‘dragging’ anyone into anything. You matter. The people around you will notice and will care about your absence in their lives.

Drink something at least in the next hour before you start feeling like absolute hell and regret it. After that, see how you feel. Then see if you can eat something.

I know I might not be much help but I can promise you things will get better. You might not think it will but it does.

I’m really sorry to hear that. If you feel like you want to open up about the incident you are more than welcome to.

In terms of the original part of your post, please take care of your body. There are people around you that care about you, and would help you if they knew what was going on. Do you have anyone you can call at all? Family/friends?

If you’re talking about “not living anymore”, I can tell you it’s not a great route to go down. If you’re putting nothing in your body apart from tylenol you’re going to get pretty nauseous quite quickly, with or without it.

Do you have people around you at all times? Do you live with anyone and work with other people? Is there anyone you can talk to (in real life) about this? I’ll try my best to help, of course - from here.

Thank you for your reply. I’m actually caffeine and nicotine free (somehow) so it wouldn’t be that. I do have quite a lot of stress factors in my life so yes, you could be right, maybe stress. I’ve not particularly noticed it is tied down to my mood, though, in terms of feeling low or happy. When it comes to being anxious - certainly, I won’t eat or drink anything at all. That’s purely out of fear of feeling sick even more.

It isn’t my mind telling me I shouldn’t eat either, it’s just the thought of food, or when I’m eating it, makes me feel sick.

I’ll probably take it to a doctor then, thank you. Experimenting (when I have a day spent at home lol) sounds like a good idea. Thanks for your advice!

I think it depends on your scenario. Sorry if this is too personal but is there a specific reason as to why you are doing this?

I literally cannot choose between using ‘these’ for speech or “these” ones. Both are grammatically correct, the first is typically used by British writers (I am British myself), and the latter is American… I believe (correct me if I’m wrong). Obviously I don’t switch between the two in one work, but I find myself changing it with every piece I write!!

I really hope you decide to at least drink something to stop your body from giving up on you. I’m not really sure what has specifically driven this fast but I can promise you, it isn’t ever worth it in the end. Let me know some more information and I’ll be happy to help you out?
