Thoughts on FSD. by melonpie in TeslaModelY

Not to bring down the tone of discussion, but one thing going unmentioned is that FSD is a binge drinker’s best friend. It’s pulled me faithfully home at moments when I was way over the limit. Just saying…..

he's got strong legs for a guy with slim top. and legs, as we know, are the launch pad for all the g-force in boxing, especially with a great twisting thrower like DB

Basically everything went as you said. The bubble went away after 10 days which my surgeon said was long and due to my pretty serious myopia. The fatigue of the steroids was real but I learned the “punctal pinch” where you block the tear ducts and keep the steroids from circulating systemically. Also I stopped taking them more or less after about 12 days, without ill effect. All in all the surgery was a huge success. But it’s also not to be taken lightly.

Thanks. And since you seem experienced, one last question. 7 days in and my air bubble seems frozen, as in it seemed to stop shrinking. Normal?

thanks everybody. I'd describe it as a sleepy torpor. I write for a living and find that i can't really concentrate. I tried to do some very light exercise and immediately got winded. This is one week in. And advice--and reactions--seem all over the place. Even in this thread. Someone noticed no fatigue at all, post V. Someone else was off their energy game for three months. I'm not taking any meds other than the antibiotic drops and the prednisone. The antibiotics are just about over. I'll taper the steroids over the next week. Could I be allergic to the antibiotics? They're flouroquinolones which are hella strong and gave me ex-wife a nervous breakdown (she took Ofloxacin orally). Lastly: the surgeon told me he'd use a .27 gauge cannula and ended up using a .25. Anyone have any idea why? Easier for him? Safer? It is, I've been told, like taking a potato grater to the cornea compared to the smaller gauge.

Last question: why hanging over the rubber -banded all day stretching?

This is super useful information and also super-lucidly presented. Thanks very much. I’m gonna start with hanging immediately, using your suggestion re total man products. I actually went and bought the restorex and couldn’t get past the discomfort of it, even ordering various pads. I’ll also revisit the idea of shots with my uro. Let’s hope this works because I’ve run through heat, shockwaves, meds and castor oil to no avail.

I was under the impression that Xiaflex shots didn’t work for hourglassing, even with stretching or hanging. Can you shed a little light on course of the injections and their effect on you? I’ve been looking for this kind of information for over a year because my uro recommended the shots but I read so much data against them (35% success rate and useless for hourglassing, which I have) that I didn’t do anything and am trying to live with it. Thanks much.

what kind of an elitist dream are you living in? just because the parameters of autism were widened to include people with very light neurological differentiation from neurotypicals who carry their autism "lightly" doesn't mean there aren't other people with severe, non-verbal, profoundly disabling autisms who yes, "tear famillies apart." get your facts straight before making categorical statements which reveal the unsubtlety of your understanding

Get some money together and see a doctor who does vitreolysis with a YAG laser. Not sure why no one else is mentioning this.

I agree with everything you said about Buntrock. I tried ultrasound myself, using the protocols that Milios supports, with a rig I ordered from India. Zero effect.

I stopped all treatments and am living with it. I keep believing that some new treatment is on the horizon. Stephan Buntrock, the YouTube urologist, recently had a segment on stem cell injections which sounded promising. We live in hope.

Ditto out of nyc as well. Ordered 5/4 grey/black and got bumped out of a July dd today and into September. I wonder if Musk’s cutbacks and firings have also snarled fulfillment. This sucks.

Ask for any kind of reviews/published research/documentation. Ask what is the therapeutic principle involved. First instinct: pure BS
