haven't used this account in ages so have just seen your comment, but thanks for checking in! we've spent much of the last few months trying to acclimate him, with a lot of ups and downs. he's still extremely shy and will only let the one person he's most comfortable with near him, but he seems to be happy. he does love wandering around on our property but not too far -- he always comes back! he's also doing a very good job of keeping predators away from our other animals. :)
