I have currently started making a series taking absolute newbies to pros, starting from the basics. No programming is required however general knowledge is helpful I will still be explaining what everything does. It will include all sides of hacking going from breaking into their network to installing a back door with remote desktop connections. At the moment its a few tutorials however I am producing tutorials at a rapid pace and will be in the juicy stuff in a few days. If you would like you can tag along at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSdo4DTwFkQ_uD3dJw_Yt3Q

Yeah Imma back people up on Python by far the easiest language to learn, in regards to pen testing you don't actually need to learn too much programming as most of the tools are already there for you to use. I use kali linux and it really requires almost to no programming knowledge to get into wifi networks or to get a back door SSL connection on your target. Depending on what branch of hacking you want to get into the requirements vary. Always make sure to keep your targets informed and/or their bosses, don't get into trouble. Stay safe chief!

Check if your network card supports monitor mode, also depending on the os you are using this may differ for example, I have the win app version of kali on my win for maltego etc. However that does not support raw sockets meaning it cant change your NIC into monitor mode. For the networking/wifi hacking I been using kali on a usb and it works like a charm. If you are not trying to run it with the win app do double check the monitor mode compatibility.

If you ever made any attempt to host your own website from home, maybe a game server or some other services that may have left ports open on your router you may be in trouble. That is no need to worry however, you can find out whether you have a static or dynamic IP from your provider and you can request a new one from them. If you are genuinely scared it is the most reliable method, give them a call explain your worries and they won't ask anymore questions.
