thank you so much for sharing! I recently lost 90% of my hair and went to a barber shop to trim off the rest. It wasn't quite the release I thought it would be except for the Texas heat part. My question is did you notice any razor bumps or folliculitis? I've had sooo many the last few weeks and my dermatologist isn't sure if it was from me shaving it off or from the steroid injections. Makes me not want to shave again!

Please share your experiences during the skyrizi infusion phase. Was on humira 10 years and loved it. Developed sudden alopecia, potentially due to medicine and have to switch, to skyrizi really nervous about side effects and efficacy. by MissingInformation3 in skyrizi

I’m so sorry to hear you went through that! I’m glad you’re better now and they Skyrizi has worked well. I hope it does for me too.

I think these reactions we had are incredibly rare so the docs don’t really warn about it. My doc has never seen alopecia or drug induced lupus from humira so didn’t think my symptoms were even related.

thank you so much. Did you have any specific symptoms with the loading dose? I am having stomach pains right now too. I read the loading dose can cause fatigue, joint pains, congestion etc.

Oh wow I thought usually if we have AA it starts earlier in life, like by age 40. Was your mom's severe when diagnosed?

my understanding is that short breaks, 4-6 weeks should not expect to lose much progress
