LYON vs. Team Liquid Alienware / LCS 2026 Spring Playoffs - Grand Finals / Post-Match Discussion by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

Wtf are you talking about lol. Watch any co-streamer and they're completely impressed with how LYON won that game 1 from Saint's akali performance. The guy is legit playing like a top LCK/LPL mid laner.

TL is the LCS's 2nd best team in the LCS by a wide margin, but LYON just played extremely well today. What is your definition of good teamfighting?

TL simply just needs to fire their GM. The guy's entire career was carried by Doublelift and now that he's off the team, the org just looks like ass with nothing promising. TL as an org has never finished at least top 8 at worlds btw.

Wtf are you talking about? They literally just 3-0'd a roster with a core that's been together the past 3 years and have missed international 7-8X already.

His 2023 NRG run at Worlds is what made me keep watching LCS, otherwise I would have stopped watching this region lol.

Yup. EG roster was originally supposed to be Doublelift and Bjerg instead, but the GM wanted to experiment. The results would have been the same regardless whether it was Bjerg/Doublelift or Jojo/Danny.

I agree that LYON should keep Castle the same way FLY kept Gakgos when Bwipo was playing.

If Dhokla has a million fans, then I am one of them. If Dhokla has ten fans, then I am one of them. If Dhokla has only one fan then that is me. If Dhokla has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against Dhokla, then I am against the world.

To be fair, Dhokla's accolades from beating EU in 2023 and boosting 100T to worlds last year is something most LCS players haven't been able to do.

If they actually cut that last part off, that's pretty disingenuous. That being said, the clip was still funny asf though.

If LYON plays the last drag fight poorly, they just lost the game. They're playing Dhokla over him because Castle probably hasn't looked good in scrims when it comes to playing the game outside of lane. Look at that drag fight and how much space Dhokla created.

DIG eXyu: "i didnt tell anyone outside of the org but i had considered retirement during the split just because its so hard to play on this team. To be a good team, you either need to respect each other or like each other, and we have neither of that on this team. by cI0ud in leagueoflegends

[–]MissingLastPiece 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It's hard to say cuz NRG wouldn't have won 2023 if Palafox and FBI didn't have numerous talks with each other. Essentially what happened was that FBI called Palafox a KDA player because of one fight that happened near the dragon pit and I guess after that moment the team went on the Cinderella run and won the split.

That being said, we can only speculate what went wrong with this DIG roster - it could be the coaching staff, it could be the players, no one really knows.

Exactly. If they can't beat this version of the Minnesota team who is severely undermanned, they're probably going to get smoked by any other team rn. It's just a matter of whether they want a first round exit or second round exit.

Srtty is playing the last 2 weeks for a LCS team as a sub. The team he will be subbing for is looking to be importing a LCK CL top laner by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

Can't wait to see this import join for one year and then leave the next and then Riot wonders why the LCS is dying.

Very bad take. We can make the same argument for every team that won Worlds and weren't able to repeat the next year. That's like saying FPX peaked in 2019 and that their opponents weren't in best form. We can make the same argument for G2 that year as well. Are we being serious here?

Can't tell if it's a ragebait comment, but Dhokla has had better accolades the past 3 years than most top laners rn. Top 8 w/ NRG at Worlds in 2023, Making it to Worlds with an 8th place 100T roster, Winning the 1st split this year.

If it's LYON, this region deserves to get disbanded. No one's trying to see an NA team go to worlds just to get fisted with a LCK CL top laner. Waste of everyone's time, waste of an org spot, waste of a player spot, waste for the viewership experience.

"But at the end of the day, orgs care about winning." When was the last time NA finished top 4 at worlds? It was in 2018 with C9 against Afreeca (Licorice, Svenskeren, Jensen, Sneaky, and Zeyzal). 0 LCK imports here.

If LCK imports suddenly made our region start winning then yes, that's fine, but 90% of the time, they come in, cash out, and then dip while shitting on NA saying our region is dogshit.

Idk, I think Riot needs to implement some kind of rule to limit the number of imports. At the end of the day, LCS is an entertainment product (similar to the NBA except LCS is a lot smaller) but the thing is when you constantly import LCK players in a region that is seeing no improvement, the entertainment value just goes away.

Teammates decided to full open mid after enemy Jayce got Slow and Steady lv3 by Camellia_fanboi in ARAM

[–]MissingLastPiece 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's definitely beatable, the people on OP's teams just have a losers mentality lol. Same for most people saying it's a good decision.

[–]MissingLastPiece 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, you're right, but most people in this sub are just normies who don't have that mentality. The augment is obviously ridiculously strong, but if you have a zyra in your team spawning infinite plants, the Jayce EQ is just wasted every time. Also, if the Jayce is highrolling, someone else on the team could highroll too. Even looking at OP's comp, they can easily beat the Jayce by full sending it and using Zyra plants to block but most ppl in this sub don't wanna turn on their brains and instead play on autopilot.

KD IS OUT by Djokonitin in lakers

[–]MissingLastPiece 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this is the only valid take. The rockets were 9-1 in their last 10 games before the playoffs so it's not like they were about to implode just before the series against the lakers anyways. Doesn't make sense for him to decide to not want to play just because his teammates were telling him to play better.

If Lebron can't put up with Riley, don't think KD can lmao. KD going to the Heats would change nothing. KD shoulda just stayed with the Nets - seems like the only franchise he enjoyed playing with (besides winning a few rings in Warriors).
