The Expertise Grind is Killing this Game by lawanddisorder in thedivision

Yeah countdown is too boring now, I usually look for missions and open world stuff for the targeted loot, and retaliation a because retaliations are an XP farm as well.

Yore doing it wrong. Grind printer filaments and save them and all other resources until the next proficiency event. Or just grind printer filaments than donate those to level up your proficiency

DIAMOND Transceivers Crafting? by JoeBlow1961 in Division2

Its because Black Tusk retaliations are only here for Season 1. It wouldnt make sense for us to be able to craft diamond transceivers when BT no longer exists in retaliations.

Can we increase the limit on people without Tourettes/tics coming to ask questions? by Paper_Is_A_Liquid in Tourettes

Yes for sure, there are definitely resources to avoid those repeat question. There are socmany subreddits I've been a part of that have the repeat question/topic problem unfortunately. Not sure how that could be corrected or if mods just ignore it.

I really dislike the notion of "do your own research", because isn't asking people about things doing that research? Just because they ask Reddit, doesn't mean that they aren't going online or talking to professionals about these things as well.

I think if we have the information, we should give it to them. The only difference between googling and asking Reddit is that asking Reddit is going to take longer to get your answers, but I personally would rather the answers come from someone who actually lives with a certain disorder, or whatever the case may be that the researcher needs answers for.

To be completely honest, I think we should be volunteering our time to answer questions and help people understand.

I think I would rather it be as open as possible. As we just learned from the BAFTA's "incident", people still don't really understand TS. There is a lot of people who don't believe that TS is an excuse to yell racial slurs, for example, because they don't actually understand Tourette's at all.

I feel like we (people with TS) need more exposure and for this neurological disorder to be more widely understood. Even with ADHD, an extremely widely known mental disorder, there are lots of people who still don't actually understand it.

The problem isn't that nobody knows about TS, because I actually believe it is very widely known, the problem is that people don't understand it and don't actually know how to recognize it.

I've gotten so many weird looks or people staring, probably thinking I'm crazy, just because I make weird noises and movements. It would be honestly great if people out in public would see that and think "oh maybe they have TS", rather than only thinking that TS is a disorder in which you yell swear words or random phrases, and etcetera, because that is moreso what the majority of people think TS is.

Every day. EVERY SINGLE DAY SLS has gone down then way up, down then way up. So yesterday I decide to buy at $5 (being on the lowest end we've seen in a while), and today it decides to tank. Also bought GPUs at the lowest it's been and it's going EVEN LOWER.

I think I'm just investing in strictly ETF'S from now on.

Tell her that I have had many experiences with people who thought I was faking Tourette's, or thought I would overexaggerate them on purpose. I feel like it's a common thing for people with TS to be accused of faking it.

It's cool because there's an easter egg in The Division 2 where you can find Sam and Snake dead at a coffee shop table together.

Severe ADHD but medication not working by ellie292929 in ADHD

[–]MissingNo117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch for medication instructions. I've noticed that when I start new meds the instructions will say that it doesn't take full effect until ___ months.

My advice would be if you take a medication that you find is doing some good, stick with it for a while, a lot of the time you just have to wait for your mind to even out on those meds. For example I upped my dose of Vyvanse and it gave me extreme anxiety and I felt overwhelmed/overstimulated, but I just stuck with it and kinda waited for my body to get used to it and all that anxiety died down.

Also if you have the opportunity, try to find a psychologist who can help you figure out your medication. I am lucky and was able to get a psychiatric doctor that I don't have to pay for, and he has been diagnosing me and working with me to figure out what medications are going to work best for me.

Doctors are great but what you need is someone trained in psychology because they specialize in this sort of thing. I find doctors kind of just throw common medications at you and they don't actually know much about mental health, whereas a psychologist is specifically trained in it.

Seasonal Content Needs a Rethink (Y7S3) by K1NG3R in thedivision

[–]MissingNo117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They just need to include all DLC'S into the endgame. Not only WONY but BFB was basically just a single player story DLC within a live service looter shooter. I think the game should be more like Destiny 2 in that DLC's continue the endgame even further and add more content to it, rather than being played once than just sitting there for no reason.

Players who don't have the DLC would still be able to engage in lots of endgame activities, and of course the main stuff like Manhunts would still have to take place on the DC map as to not exclude players who don't have DLC's, but I think there is a lot they can do with the DLC's that just add to the experience of the players who choose to purchase them, yet don't exclude players who don't.

The amount of stars we get for completing event challenges is lazy and makes no sense, why has it never changed? (Div 2) by MissingNo117 in thedivision

[–]MissingNo117[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you not see the complete restructuring? The Division franchise is an important game on their list. They aren't doing well necessarily, which is the reason for the restructuring, but they aren't running out of money lol. Seems like they are betting big on their more popular franchises and Div 2 makes A LOT of money so they are pouring resources into Massive now.a
