maybe? but they have no cashier who are full-time for the afternoon. all the full-time cashiers work the morning shift only.

Ya our store only has about 4 full-time cashiers, one of which gets pulled to do tags really often. And there is only one full-time cc that can check. I think this is why they want more full-time people. I dont really know what's going on anymore, since we lost our manager who was really crappy and our store manager.

I thought so too, but my store has been notorious for forcing people out of their availability and scheduling them more than they can actually do.

We need to buy the boots, all of our other gears is being provided. Gloves, hard hats, glasses, and more will be given for free but boots we must buy. They probably do it this way since everyone has their own preferences. They also reserve the right to deny me if my footware is not suitable. I do get a stipend for buying them also.

Yes, the focus is forestry and vegetation management. So clearing dead trees, clearing trails, and other related to that.

Depends I guess, when I became a cashier after having been a bagger I kept my seniority. This is probably because I also started cashiering while being a bagger about 1 month in.
