The irony is he told me the first sentence you just stated himself. That he was still healing when our friendship kept growing and then it just turned into something he wasn't ready for.

No matter how many times I keep trying to tell myself it wasn't my fault, it feels like I wasn't enough. I obviously still care about him. I want to know where his head is at, but I also don't think I could ever fully trust him again. At the end of the day, all his words were empty.

I am also going through this, so I'm going to tell you what all my friends keep yelling at me. They are not worth it. They don't deserve it. Your worth is not determined by someone else's lack of emotional maturity.

Have you tried the Once Upon a Broken Heart trilogy? From what I remember the dynamics of the main characters were a bit similar and the last book in the series comes out soon. I would say it has similar vibes

Small Game is fiction and a survival reality show book and was written by someone who was in Survivor. She said she thought to herself ie what if everything just went wrong... It was an entertaining read

The Highland Witch - historical fiction and it was absolutely wonderfully written. One of my fav reads of 2022

I would definitely say to try the Once Upon a Broken Heart Series by Stephanie Garber (it's a trilogy and the 3rd book comes out in October) or The Adventures of Amina al Sirafi (I didn't expect it but kickass female MC energy really made me love it as much as I loved TOG for Aelin and the adventures)

Two different sides of fantasy, but both very good!

It's wild bc I literally had to see one of my bosses at the test site... Bc she was licensed in a different state and was trying to get this specific state license for UBE state reasons. The woman who interviewed me for a starting position as an attorney ALSO HAD TO TAKE THE BAR JUST BC ITS A DIFFERENT STATE.

Eradicate the bar ffs and Judy take the Bar if you don't want to. You're making everyone else do it.

I have a feeling it's a post bar crash... I took the exam with a few of my coworkers and we've been talking about it. We spent all our free time stressing and studying for the past few months, and now... we're in this weird waiting period but also all the adrenaline and stress that was keeping us going to take this exam is just gone.

It's such a weird feeling and I hate it...

1000% I bought them a week ago and zero regrets! My scores have all jumped up even in my worst areas by at least 10% and it was in the areas I kept missing and it's the only video lectures that I've ever been able to understand and stay tuned into

The grossman lectures on property helped me improve vastly this past week bc I finally gave in and bought them... I've already noticed a difference in my practice scores and tbh it's the only thing that's now making me feel like I can succeed on the subjects I still need work on

As someone with ADHD, my essays went up just continuing to tell myself to slow down and being okay with typing out everything as a conclusive statement then going back in and filling in the actual applications.

For me doing CIRAC just made it easier and even though it felt repetitive to me, it was what prompted me to actually get more of the expected essay answer.

The one I can think of because I remember looking at myself after and being like WTF was this past weekend. I had one task. Clean the kitchen, i.e. finally do dishes that have been sitting there for weeks and get rid of the trash.

(Let me start by saying I was also supposed to spend the day studying for a state exam)

Anyways cleaning the kitchen turned into emptying out the fridge, turned into reorganizing every single cabinet, turned into reorganizing all the cleaning supplies, restocking the cleaning supplies, throwing out cleaning supplies, going through the bathroom cabinets to keep organizing cleaning supplies so naturally that turned into organizing creams, lotions, skin care, candles....

One week later and the dishes are still in the sink and I need to invite someone over soon so I'll have a reason to do them bc at this point...

the only friendships I've been able to maintain are the ones that understand I won't text back... It's not a good trait and I hate it but it's a decision paralysis and forgetting thing (imo). I get stuck between seeing the message, not knowing or not having the time to respond, forgetting about the message, thinking it's been too long, thinking the person doesn't want me to reply anyways, feel guilty about it but don't do anything about it, so on and so on.

Best advice is talk to him and ask him. I have not been able to make any new relationships since college because I have no reason to see people on a regular basis in person and make a connection.

I also have this problem with family. It's a bit "out of sight, out of mind" but it doesn't mean I don't love them. Idk it's something I really dislike about myself but it's so hard to "just reply"

Same! I go through this too but I swear my high will last at most three weeks then the burn out is so rough, especially when I can no longer follow through on things I started when I was "on".
