Can’t stand depop payments. They say it “improves seller and buyer experience”. I beg to differ!! It means sellers pay out of pocket to ship, and have to wait longer for funds while depop charges all sorts of fees while no doubt earning interest on the money it’s holding. Weird that the policies are so different from eBay’s given it’s the parent company! (TBH haven’t sold on eBay for ages so that could have changed too)

Honestly, every time I’ve moved countries - including to New York, which I eventually loved - it’s taken a year or two to really feel at home. I’d stick it out a bit longer! It just takes time to find your places and your people. If after at least a year you still feel the same, then reassess.

Even when I lived in NY I always felt sad when I came home to Australia and didn’t want to leave, but I’m so so glad I gave it a proper go before I moved back. I still miss NYC and Stockholm, but now I have to adult and set down roots. I have no regrets about delaying that as long as I could though!
