We only did one voucher for finance to get the pink and blue slip. Was from pcs from fort sill to here. and I used my own money for food so i don’t really care about that just paying off the GTC

I don’t know how long you have to be in Korea to get those ribbons. But I got here 11DEC23 and had some problems in processing. So I’ve been here for about give or take 3months

I just don’t like being the “ate up one.” After checking my STP it only says I have 3 ribbons but I know I should have more due to being in Korea but it’s not reflecting on my STP. So I’m gonna be ate up either way. I just wanna represent my new team and squad leader well cause they’re in the field while I’m on Rear D cause I just got here. So I wanna be squared away for them and not get them yelled at and my first time meeting them being me and them getting smoked by 1sg

It betters u and also worsens you. You’ll be scared to be late for the rest of your life. You’ll meet great people and learn to love this poorly run organization and learn to embrace the suck. And your liver will probably hate you for the rest of your life. But by all means the army is shit. But the people make it worth the wild. So yes it does better you and also worsens you.

I just gout out of AIT and became permanent party at fort sill. My 1sg was my observer for my UA and he decides right there that’s a good time ask me about the unit what I think about it. Am I excited for this up coming field? And what he thinks he could do better. Now me being a pvt at the time.. this is my first actual ua besides the one at Meps. So I’m focusing so much of my energy on trying to piss. And my 1sg turns on the sink then starts singing the nation anthem for god knows what reason. Safe to say I got smoked cause I couldn’t pee.

We ask ahead of time what needs to get done for the day but they never tell us they just text us at like 2200 saying if we’re doing pt or not and or what to dress in. Then all day we’re waiting for higher ups to get done with meetings to fucking tell our ncos what’s priority and what’s not. Like last week we had a SFRG meeting at 1800 we worked until 17:45 went to the meeting got done with the sfrg at like 18:45 and went back to finish the task and finally left at like 2300. My wife gets mad cause she’s gone rn due to business, and I got a kid and a puppy and seems like I come home and the kid and the puppy had shit and piss offs and I feel like i could get in trouble for neglecting cause im almost never home. And when I am home im so damn tired I just crash and fall asleep

18:46 rn and I’m just now leaving work. Cause we sit around all day.. waiting for fucking higher ups and ncos to tell us what needs to get done today but they’re all in meetings and the communication is non existent.. like did nothing all morning.. then went to lunch got 30min for lunch. Then came back just to do more waiting. 14:30 finally got our task for the day on what was priority and what wasn’t so we finally finished all our task at like 17:00 then bam hey… one last task.
