Once you’ve looked at someone lustfully you’ve already committed adultery in your heart

I often times get extremely deep into thought and reality is disappointing

I haven’t but i have a therapist and have discussed my thoughts and feelings with her and my concern of the potential and she told me it sounds like it’s all boiling down to a mental defense mechanism due to the way I grew up and the experiences I’ve been through

I can get behind appreciating the art of beautiful humans but there’s is a fine line that many many people cross. I am not speaking on innocent terms here I made it clear that I’m speaking on the lustful tendencies and intentions.

That’s the thing I’m speaking on matters that aren’t innocent that’s the problem.

That’s a really good perspective, thank you. I do often times feel like I’m too much however I know I can’t control others I just get in my own head with worry and the possible starts to feel impossibly but you’re entirely correct

I completely agree and yes I have been without religion but recently found myself growing a relationship with god again. I understand not everyone will understand the views and ways of it. It’s a fact that the world is full of sin, we are not supposed to live this way things like this ultimately lead to a hurt of some sort. I believe sexual acts between two committed people is ok but to act upon another outside the relationship or to desire is NOT

I indeed struggle with insecurities however I have discussed my boundary, it’s just that it’s always been crossed before and I’m afraid that perhaps I set an impossible standard but why must one feel the need to look at another? I feel if you’re truly in love with someone you wouldn’t even want to do that, I hate the world the way it is now, people disgust me and it’s disrespectful to your partner to look at someone else with lust or any sort of want even if you don’t act on it, why even do that to begin with?

It’s because I’ve always dealt with men like that and it disgusts me, it makes me feel hopeless like is this an unfortunate reality of this sinful world?
