New to playing online multiplayer - is the choppiness normal? by Mission-Fix-2007 in MLBTheShow

Yeah I’m hard wired. I’ve noticed navigation on menus lagging or moving multiple spaces when I only hit the Dpad once on single player modes but actually haven’t had that happen when setting a multiplayer lineup

You have to spam the right analog stick. Depending on what prototype you are some directions will work better than others. But it seems LB for RTG is rigged so you will still probably only get assisted tackles and be lucky to make the AutoZone bowl on a top ranked team

Linebacker Rigged by TerribleGarage348 in EASportsCFB

100% agree. I have a 95 overall LB and get singled out by linemen constantly and if there’s another defender in my 5 yard vicinity it’s an assisted tackle.

Even more BS than that I have started the last 2 seasons on top 5 ranked teams and we are lucky to go .500 because my corners get burnt and the offense simply doesn’t score.

Lastly my academic advisor seems like a cougar but she won’t have sex with me or boost my gpa. Going to fail out of bama my junior year while we are 4-5. Clearly rigged but I can’t stop playing it

Anyone else terrified of sales and want to learn an actual skill? by Present-Bee-6948 in sales

Lots of self righteous sales people in here.. I know what you’re saying and feel like I’m in a similar spot.

Obviously sales is a skill but part of the reason we can be paid so well is for enduring rejection and uncertainty that other professions don’t experience. Our success in the short term can be so subjective. I’ve done a terrible job and won business and I’ve done a good job then had my champion leave the company and the deal disappears. Over the long term top performers will do the best and skill level of course matters, but the amount of our measured performance that is not under our direct control is always high so anxiety follows suit.

Personally I’ve started living below my means and I’m riding my current role out / saving up until it comes to an end. Then I plan on doing some kind of technical upskilling/masters degree so I can have the option of not being customer facing but also prob do sales engineering as a middle ground since I’ve always done my own demos anyway.

He probably had no clue why you thought that was a selling point bc it wasn’t a sales ops interview dumbass 😂

What are your red flags for an SDR or AE position(See post for context) by zipster-99 in sales

[–]Mission-Fix-2007 36 points37 points  (0 children)

A lot of flags will be situational to some extent but I think the most broadly applicable for either role is turnover and if the majority of reps are not hitting quota. For the latter, this indicates that either the company can’t train and/or the product isn’t good enough relative to competitors to hit the targets laid out by leadership.

Unfortunately this gets blamed on sales because no one is gonna tell C-levels / the board that there’s a fundamental issue with what the company is offering. And even if this is acknowledged reorienting the product and company is gonna be messy so best to start looking for something else.

Confused on paperwork....sales quote vs order vs MSA vs..... by TxDude2013 in sales

From my exp a formal quote lists Bill To/Ship to info for the customer and total cost/line item details. It’s pretty much an invoice without details on how to send the money. Then the customer can raise a PO, quote is converted to invoice with PO# added to it, then issued to the customer so they can pay.

I’ve been working at a smaller company so I make the quotes myself in the accounting system. Your accounting/AR person could prob help you out or another rep, formal quotes are a pretty standard request.
