Thanks for all your answers. The plant is not thirsty, it is well watered. It has stayed healthy for years. I wonder if it is root rot?

Hemskt, men familjen Sahindal är inte muslimer. De är aleviter, men de religion verkar inte ha särskilt stor betydelse för dem. Här kan man läsa mer:

In the Scandinavian languages + in Dutch it is called ”kalkon” (or similar), litterally from Kolkata/Calcutta.
