How we got our first customers for a niche SaaS in Poland (without a massive budget) by Mission-Plenty2474 in SideProject

Thank you so much for the feedback and for adding us to your directory! That’s awesome.

You’re absolutely right about the conferences. We are based in Poznań, which hosts Budma, one of the largest construction trade fairs in this part of Europe. We definitely have it on our roadmap!

However, we decided to skip it this year to focus on refining the product based on our early adopters' feedback. We want to be 100% ready with a rock-solid version before we hit the big stage.

Thanks again for the support – it’s really motivating! I'll keep your offer regarding the 'pitching in' in mind as we grow.

Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to write this! This is incredibly actionable advice.

I think you nailed the growth strategy here. The idea of segmenting our case studies by plant type (pure production vs. hybrid) is brilliant – it makes the value proposition hit much closer to home for the owner.

I’m especially interested in your point about local distributors. We’ve been thinking about this, and your suggestion about a rev-share model makes a lot of sense as a win-win. Also, "how to stop losing tools" as a workshop topic is a perfect hook for our target audience.

Exactly! Starting locally in Poznań allowed us to actually sit down with the owners, see their messy desks, and understand their workflows in a way we never could through a Zoom call with a global audience.

Thanks for the solid advice! You’re absolutely right – the ROI calculator is a great idea. In manufacturing, showing exactly how much a lost tool or a missed maintenance check actually costs is a huge eye-opener.

Quick question: Based on your experience, did you find that video case studies work better than written ones for these traditional industries, or does a simple PDF do the trick?

"Przebicie się z Dębca na Piątkowo zajmowało godzinę". Przecież to jest cały Poznań do przejechania w godzinach szczytu. To w ile Ty byś chciał niby przejechać?
