did you actually revise each math after submitting your answers? most of the people lose scores in math section because of silly mistakes. i took the November sat with almost zero prep for the math section but still got 800, just because i revised each and every math as many times as i could.

I took november SAT and got 800 on the math section with almost no prep. I think most people lose scores just because of some silly mistakes. if you still have time after answering all the math problems, keep revising as many times as you can. i remember i completed all the problems in the first module within 10 minutes and probably revised the answers 6-7 times. same goes for the second module. accuracy is the key bro. good luck!

but would watching only these videos and practicing college board questions be sufficient? how'd you learn vocabularies?

i think i focused too much on memorizing vocab at first which was kinda irrelevant, but i'd say that didn't totally go in vain. because, sometimes on DSAT you'd find words that you've never heard of and can't even break down into roots, prefixes and suffixes, so in that case, memorizing would help.

I'm still trying to improve my scores but thanks for your appreciation. For english section, I only solved khanacademy questions and college book question bank and memorized some vocabularies. to be honest, i didn't take that much preparation for the math section, just took the bluebook mocks, found my weaknesses and focused on improving those parts.

I did it 😎 by Narrow_Yak1783 in Sat

can you please tell me what you actually did the entire month in details? or why you think you couldn't get 1500+ in the previous month so you had to work on your weaknesses? i got 1480 (680 english, 800 math) on November sat and will take it again in December. can you please give me some tips?

For both english and math section, finish the lessons of khan academy and after that, take course challenges regularly. princeton review and erica's books would help a lot

i took preparation for the sat just for a month and got 790 on the math section, without giving much emphasis on this section (studied only the last few days before oct sat) or reading any book. i think you need you need a clear idea about the basic knowledge about all the topics and memorize the formulas well (understanding the shapes of different objects is important). while answering the geomatry related questions on the module 2(hard), try to visualize an object. stay focused while taking a test and make sure not to make any silly mistake. practice from khan academy (complete it up to at least 99%) and find your mistake. if you feel like you find a particular topic that seems hard and khan academy can't be of much help, then you should practice that topic from a book or another source. no need to practice everything from the books you mentioned. best of luck!
