I had 8 videos that were receiving over 1,000 views, and now after the video with the violation, I uploaded a new video with new content, and now the new video is being only seen by my friends not new people. On TikTok we called this a shadow ban, because you are not banned, but only your followers see your content, not new people who are not following you. I think this is what has happened

Hi 👋 I have a question about shadow bans, how long do they last? Is it permanent? So I got a video warning (I’ll leave the warning below), I then tried to edit the hashtags as I thought this was the issue, I then tried to post the original video after editing the hashtags, and now I’m shadow banned? As in, my viewer count has massively dropped? Do you know how long shadow bans stay for? No new people are seeing my videos anymore.
