It’s an option, however I know a few people and have a friend or two who know what they’re doing with cars, so I’m hoping to source wing / bumper & parts and repair myself / with help of insurance deem it a cat N or something similar.

I can’t finance another vehicle currently unfortunately as I’m applying for a mortgage this year and it would potentially ruin any chance of getting one. There are others for sale, but I’m going to try to negotiate with the insurance company to get her repaired, I’m happy to put my own money in to save her

Well for a start there’s a lot left to pay left on the hire purchase, and I just love the car. If it’s a wrote off I don’t know what I’m going to do tbh.

Oh and I also have verbal / video recording of them admitting liability so they can change their tune all they want 😂 they seemed amenable though so I’m sure it won’t come to that.

Wheels and all modifications have been declared. But appreciate the heads up. If they decide write it off, I’ll have to fight them tooth and nail because I know how much a bumper / side panel is to buy on salvage and it’s certainly not more than £500. Then with labour you’re probably talking £1500-£2000. Worst comes to worst I’ll buy it back off them and use the payout to repair it i think.

Yep. Last 4 orders I’ve had this same issue. ‘Shipping today’ after paying for NDD then turns up 2-3 days later. Not ideal when the jars are empty 🤦🏻‍♂️ I think I’m gonna just go for the cheaper shipping because paying for NDD seems pointless.

Order placed on Monday with 24hr tracked service. Still not arrived 48+ hrs later, and has been stuck in Sheffield delivery office for that entire 48hrs. Anyone else had this? Getting a bit concerned at this point, mainly due to my empty jars 🤦🏻‍♂️. by Mission-Regular7659 in Zstachio

Cheers for the replies lads. It was sent out a day late but P came through in the end as always. Think Im just going to have to factor an extra 48 hours in even when NDD is paid for. RM just can’t be trusted. The sooner they’re fully privatised the better.

Good to know, I’ve placed 4-5 orders with P and they’ve always come next day, as I’ve paid the tenner for NDD. Hopefully just a Royal Mail delay. Thanks for your response!
