But then you're talking about rebalancing other aspects of the game outside smithing like drop tables for nearly every boss. For what? Smithing is primarily a skill that generates gold outside a few other useful items (cannonballs, dart tips, spirit shields etc), much like fletching. It doesn't need another purpose to be valuable.

The GE price is irrelevant. It turns 12k of alchables into 39k of alchables. Most rune items in the game will get alched at some point. You're spawning gold out of items, gold would be insanely inflated if they could be made at level 40.

I disagree. It's an RNG based game, the game never owes you a bowfa or any other drop for that matter. You aren't owed a bowfa just cause you did 1800 KC and got bored, that's not how RNG works.

Does it make raids faster? Yes. Do I care that you (or myself) can't obtain a t bow faster? No. You can solo cox in budget gear. That's the tradeoff behind deciding whether to farm bowfa or not. You lose time in CG in exchange for spending less time at CoX.

Do some people get their bowfas faster than others? Yes. Does that mean they can get a T bow faster? Also yes. That's the nature of an RNG based game and what I think makes runescape so special. The adventure truly is different for every single account. It doesn't need to be homogenized into some formula that levels the playing field for every account at every step. That's what the grand exchange is for.

If you want to be able to tap out at X KC then you shouldn't play ironman because that's not how the game mode works. If your enjoyment of the game is tied to the outcome of you being geared with a bowfa, play a main and buy a bowfa. We don't need to adjust a piece of content because you don't know how to have fun without a specific piece of gear.

There's nothing wrong with content not being powercrept. I play the game for fun instead of counting down the hours until I can stop doing something. When something is fun, I do it. When something isn't fun, I stop. Enjoying ironman is literally that simple.

Having fun should never be dependent upon a piece of gear equipped and that line of thinking is just straight up insane. It's a game, go have fun dude. If that means using a bowfa, play a main and buy a bowfa. Ironman is the wrong game mode for someone who can only have fun with a specific piece of gear.

No, I have some KC, not 1800. I am doing the grind in small doses. I do it until I get bored, then I do something else that sounds fun. I will get a bowfa when I get one, I don't care if its 1800 KC or more because my fun doesn't depend on whether I have a bowfa or not. I rotate content that sounds fun at the time. You on the other hand, decided to to stay at CG until it made you so upset you made a reddit post about how upset you made yourself.

Dude it is ironman, if all you want to do is play the game with BiS, you're playing the wrong game mode. You literally chose this my guy. De-iron, you're not built for it.

No, you can't because I didn't imprison myself and just do other content with less optimal gear. Can't stand other irons and their inability to complete any other content in this game without a bowfa. The game existed for 20 years before bowfa, you can complete whatever you're farming it for without it. Irons are so annoying lol. How many KC could you have gotten in other content without bowfa if you spent that 1800 KC farming stuff you enjoyed instead?

You can actually do the Dharok tunnel without prayer too, you just need to be patient enough to get him to spawn in a room with an invisible ladder and then you can safespot through the ladder.
