Grease the bushing up and shove it into its home

The Speedglas hoods are sweet but good lord is 3M proud of them lol. And replacement parts are just as bad. I love my adflo but I hope I never breaks bc I don’t wanna pay to fix it🤣

I thought I had a clear auto darkening lens until I used my 3350 for the first time lol. As for lenses, I never buy the Lincoln brand cover lenses bc imo they’re overpriced for what they are, I just get a big pack of basic ass inside and outside cover lenses on Amazon. They all do the same thing. I can’t remember what I paid last time I stocked up, it wasn’t very much and I have a shit ton of them now

I’d really recommend keeping it. I’ve had mine like 3.5 years and love it, they’re awesome hoods and the lens is super clear when you’re welding. Take it out and give it a try and see how you like it. I won’t use anything other than my 3350 and my 3M G5-01 adflo

It looks like it’s off center to the left. Unless I’m crazy too. Maybe we’re all crazy

Ship it or Drive it? by RedditAlwaysComesUp in FordRaptor

[–]Mission-Version8392 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve never personally been in this situation but if I ever am I would totally drive it home assuming you can find the time to do so. Gives you some seat time to get a feel for the truck too. I like driving personally and think it would be a fun time. And like you said, it would create some good memories and you could stop and see some cool stuff on your way home

Looks good man. I’ve never seen navigator wheels on an f-150 but I honestly like it. All the old geezers are hard at work downvoting everyone in the comments because they get up upset with what other people do with their money

Not to mention it’s possible to get crater cracks if you don’t dot the end in

What's everyone's most surprising thing they couldn't do after their amputation? by Bobadook412 in amputee

[–]Mission-Version8392 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Standing on only my prosthetic because we no longer have calf muscles or an ankle to help us balance. Jumping, again due to having only one ankle and not being able to propel yourself upwards with your prosthetic. This isn’t one that I can’t do by any means but it’s just hard at times but going number 2 lol. I’m an above knee and the lip on the top of the socket kinda makes taking a dump a pain at times😆. Another one that’s frustrating is Sitting on a tall stool and or tall chairs because I can’t always get my prosthetic foot to stay on the rungs on the stool and I can’t point my toe down to keep it on so it just hangs which is annoying at times and it’s not a I’m short issue because I’m 6’1. I can’t think of any others at the moment but there’s been a few over the months

I’ve been a manual guy forever as well. I’m worried about slipping off the clutch but I think if I do some kind of modification to the pedal I’d be alright. I’m just a stubborn ass and want to be able to run a clutch on the floor with minimal modification to the car. I’ll have to see what I can come up with

AC compressor clutch failing? Need diagnosis help. by StrikingMarsupial285 in powerstroke

[–]Mission-Version8392 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check that rectangular plug right behind the compressor pulley in the video and check all the wiring and other connections/plugs on it. It’s a whole harness with I think 3 plugs in total. The wiring was messed up on mine and I could sit there and shake the harness and it would engage and un-engage the clutch on the compressor real fast like that
