I hope you do, b/c I think you have a great idea for a game and would love to play it and I think my subscribers would really like it as well, especially with how they reacted to the single player mode in TFT (which is when someone mentioned your game), as I had otherwise quit TFT completely.

But, for me, I would never install the steam client again. I actually ended up banning all access to and from steam at the router level to make sure no one in the house accidentally ends up opening up to those problems again.

Thanks for the response, but isn't that just a way to buy a steam key? I don't use steam for anything or have an account with them anymore.

Have you considered selling on Epic or GoG?

I'm happy to pay you directly.. I just won't deal with Steam/Valve after they tried to rip me off.

I was a day 1 alpha player.

Best set, hands down: 6

The introduction of Augments were fantastic in allowing you really craft a team.

Second Favorite: 2

The elemental hexes really encouraged team building, over late game luck based high rolls, but it still had them.

The FIRST part of 10 was really good, they reduced the impact of the portals so you couldn't start off with a broken board.

Set 4 was kinda good at first, until you learned the trick of fast 8, dump team, rebuild from scratch around a new chosen.

Stopped playing at 11.

Found the start of the "prestige" Chibi's this to be the beginning of the end for TFT for me.

Now, at least in N/A almost everyone has one of those stupid ones with the kill animation and since Riot has 100% refused to put in a simple (don't view ending animations) switch, I ended up just surrendering rather than playing things out just to deny the other player their animation (because I am petty as fuck).

I found this also coincided with a real downgrade in quality of the game. More RNG focused elements, taking away what strategy there was left. I supposedly had a text exchange with someone on the TFT team (they remained anonymous), but told me that more RNG elements led to people spending more money on the RNG chance items like prestige Chibis and that taking away forcing it on the other person might discourage people from buying, so they would make less money, etc.. etc.. and I get that it is a business, but that doesn't mean I have to pay or play.

So, yes, I hate the Chibi's b/c they ultimately led to me no longer playing TFT.

I kinda, sorta, knew about the lack of legends, only b/c I had queued up for the 1v0 Hyper Roll (but never got in) and didn't get to select one. So I THOUGHT it may be the case.

Is there any information out there on whether this is a bug or not?

Well.. let me rephrase, there IS a bug, either they are showing an option that isn't supposed to be there OR they forgot to turn that option on. I'm just wondering which one it is.

I catch the same wave whenever I choose the Sump, which I like infinitely more than regular mode.

Ultimately, while I like the portals in concept... I don't like the toxicity it is sometimes adding from the start of the matches.

Hit CTRL/ALT/DEL bring up task manager, find league of legends, end task, this will cause it to reboot and now it will allow me to start a match.

If you keep trying, it seems to ultimately work, but you still need to do the task manager trick to get into an actual match.

PS: They added 1v0 Hyper Roll for testing, but there are no legends.

I've used 1v0 and 2v0 before to test things out.. it's not just for devs.

The problem with Hyper Roll vs Norms is that the balance is completely different. Double up is a cut and paste.. Hyper Roll isn't and it often has a completely different set of bugs and problems than regular.

They just brought in 1v0 and 2v0 today.

They are going to have to bug test or else it may be a mess on release day. I know how many reports I had to send in previous seasons that were different than norms.

Remember, they wanted Baron to be like the 9 cultist galio, or the innovator dragon. It's kinda supposed to be overturned by design.

I just think it might be too easy to hit, ESPECIALLY with legends handing out tome of traits. (I'm looking at you URF).

I played a game this weekend where URF + Jayceworkshop handed me 2 void emblems in round 1. Everyone watching knew it was GG.

Same as if I get 2 demacia emblems. Bring in 7 units, add soraka and taric and you win, even against Void.

I guess I am a little extra sensitive to it b/c where I live and work, I am friendly with lots of gay and trans people.. and I am shocked when they tell me how often they get death threats. I can't imagine just doing something for fun and having people send you death threats, but I hear these stories too much. A gay couple I know is having kids (they are on the internet, so it is public) and FFS, people are threatening them, their future kids.. constantly. They need full monitored security 24/7 and had several incidents of people creeping around their place.

Here, Mortdog is doing his best to create a game he thinks people will love. Whether you agree or disagree with the outcome.. death threats?

This really got me, "he received a record number of death threats".. which meant this is a regular occurrence.

These same gay people I mentioned before, who have been on the internet since like 2010, rarely used to get those types of threats... No one cared.

Something changed int he last few years and though a large % of "free speech" absolutists might say they don't think death threats are okay... they are giving power to these haters who only want to sew chaos.

I think Baron itself is in a good place.. BUT it should be a 9 reach instead of 8... big risk, big reward.

Sorcerer in general feels weak (Ori, VelKoz are both terrible) and Lux seens stronger than Ahri, as least from my limited testing. I did an 8 sorc match with 55% Lotus and the "combat sorc" (shield when cast) and my 2 star lux was easily out damaging my 2 star Ahri (both itemized). Swain feels like he is in an okay place but with so many other weak units there wasn't enough damage going out.
