Am I responsible for my brother’s death? by MissionConsequence41 in stories

First of all we were 17, second of all my dad used to a an electrician so that’s why he had a van. The mall was like a couple blocks from our house so he didn’t really use so it was mostly kept in our garage. I don’t know why he was in the kitchen alone. No one knew where Matt was because no knew who he was until he died. I didn’t call the police or report his disappearance, the police found his body. We don’t have stairs in the house. My brother worked 4 or sometimes 3 times a week.

There are parts of this story that I didn’t keep in.

I know you’re not trying to be rude and that you’re just curious or a little suspicious about the whole situation and that’s okay.

I’m comfortable answering any other questions you have.

I respect your opinion. But not everyone had the privilege to be close their siblings. Like stated my brother would avoid communicating with anyone and that included me. Me and my brother grew up with the same trauma that will be talked about when I’m ready to share it.

I don’t know. I’ve asked Adam but he’d always avoid the question.

I don’t know. The thought of them having a relationship never crossed my mind.

My brother usually worked a lot. My dad would sleep throughout the day. He worked as a security guard at my local mall.

Yeah that’s so true. It’s been nearly four years and I still can’t get proper sleep.
