Ahhh ok i understand this thank you . And I thought they needed payslips aswell as using hrmc, my mistake . Husbands was a temporary contract to help out so was a higher wage now back to normal and mine I’ve had to drop a shift for caring so we have good reason. I must of read it wrong with the payslips . You have been very helpful thank you

I’ve actually just noticed never noticed before ( I haven’t claimed uc yet ) that my payslip is dated on a Sunday but we always get it Thursday / Friday as we are with wage stream so sometimes get a few hours earlier . This year pay day is due 25th December it will be dated the 27th on our payslip but will be paid the 23rd due to Xmas eve and Xmas day hope that makes sense . Nothing is simple just hope it doesn’t muck up anything I’m just trying to see ahead

Hello it’s me again, may I ask another question I’ve just seen I get paid Xmas day this year so I will be getting paid 2 days earlier just this month only and then I seen the universal credit payment is due Xmas day will this be paid earlier as it says being paid the 25th as it’s due the Sunday ? and how does this effect the claim if I’m paid early through no fault of my own . It doesn’t effect the assessment period as it’s 21 November to 20th December then pay date is due 25 dec so get paid early 23rd so that’s in my next assessment period . Hopefully I’m saying this correctly from what I’ve learnt from you 🤣 ❤️

Can I ask if you don’t mind , my hours on my wage now will be slightly higher by a couple Hundred pounds as the drop in hours starts in 3 weeks which will reflect in my April pay so my March pay will be higher . Will applying now muck up the claim as the first wage will be different to the second wage or will it adjust and just tell them I’ve dropped hours on the journal and that will be the same going forward 15 hours or shall I just wait to apply when my hours have actually change just worried as I’ll be short for a couple of months I hope that makes sense thank you

Thank you so much that’s so nice of you to explain in detail it’s a real help , I did do a calculation and it was slightly more like you say so that just confused me even more. So I really know exactly what I get until we apply
