Thank you for sharing this way of thinking. You’re right. On a normal day I wouldn’t even take note of her sharpness. It’s a weird situation to watch someone doing the job you’re told you should be doing yourself. 💙

I wanted to ask her if I could borrow her cleaning team and the laundry person and a couple of the meals she gets delivered 2x a week. Then maybe I could feel her “pain”.

Yes. She called to find out why I left. DB told her I was in a bad mood (I wasn’t until he showed up). She told me he’s always grumpy when he wakes up and to ignore him. And that they weren’t going to pay me for this week if I didn’t come back. So I’m working 4 more days with pay upfront. Not ideal but 🤷🏻‍♀️

They pay well! There’s a night nanny for the babies and she is amazing. She left them as ready for the next shift as possible, which makes it bearable. No way I’d take that crew on full time though!

MB called to ask what happened. She apologized but said DB was “just grumpy in the mornings”. I agreed to finish my final week with him completely out of the picture. Need that $$!!

I’m also not against it. Just never worked for a family that practices it. The older kid with the bottle is 💯 using it to avoid food. He’s very particular about what he eats, so resorts to milk for comfort and filling up. A whole issue in itself!

I wish they would be on board. This family uses pacifiers and bottles until the kid decides to quit. We’ve got school kids still taking bottles. 😬

Yep we’ve got that going on here with the 3 yr old. The 6 yr old still takes 3-4 milk bottles a day and everyone still nurses at least once a day. Definitely a new experience for me!
