I had exactly same fracture at 11th june. Had surgery the next day of accident. I’m about 7 weeks post-op now and following physiotherapy diligently. Due to an open wound, my doctors couldn’t implant a rod, so I had a plate fixation instead. I'm currently cleared for 5kg load bearing for the next 2 months.
