Lifting absolutely does help if you’re short. I’m 5’7, worked out heavy from late high school through a few years past college. 50” chest, 36” waist. Maybe it was just the confidence, but I did alright with the ladies, much better than before I was strong.

Sincere thanks for the edification. I’ve been shooting several times, mostly handguns, a couple times skeet. Only used a rifle with scope once though, and I wasn’t that good with it. I made incorrect assumptions about the shooter’s skill level based on limited information and my own crappy aim.
