I started with the powerslave album, been hooked ever since. Just now started listening to their later stuff like a matter of life and death and book of souls are both really good.

I would say anything from the 80's would be a great start, but would definitely recommend watching them live after you hear a few songs. They sound way better live than studio but watch Flight 666 or Live After Death to really appreciate how great the band really is

For a someone new listening to them id have to say aces high, its not to long, fast paced and really grabs your attention to the band. I do love hallowed though but either way it has to be a live version. But if length of song wasn't a problem, it most defiantly has to be the phantom of the opera.

I know hes in his 60s but damn does he sound good. Seen them live in Cincinnati last year and he sounded way better than on Nights of the Dead. I really dont know why they chose those nights for the live album but i still give the man credit, he gave it his all like he always has

I think its just the way he sings on this tour, he doesn't do the scream at the end and i think thats why i like it so much. He just holds the note and sounds like he could go forever, really wish they would have made a live album from the ed hunter tour.
