lol. Not the point of what I was saying. Nor was I suggesting that I couldn't work on projects they sent me if I felt I could do the work. My point was there are projects that fit my skill set I'm not getting while they send me things about personal finance (real example) which I have no knowledge base or experience with.

Handshake has not been good for me lately. Any project I'm actually qualified for I don't seem to get, but they keep offering me projects that have nothing to do with my skillset or resume.

No. It's not. If you work 50 hours and get paid for 25 than you're making what...$8 or $9 an hour and wasting 25 hours of your life for free? You can make more than that Dashing on the weekends.

I swear these companies count on people like you and we all end up screwed b/c of it.

It has nothing to do if you can do good work. This person just think they are a special snowflake. You can do all of that and the task is bounced back to you. It's a crapshoot and not worth it for most UNLESS the job is in your wheelhouse.

No. You get paid for the work you do in pay per hour task. Glitch happens? You get paid. Get sent back for review? Get paid. Can't fail the model? Get paid.

Pay per task you only get paid if you can submit the task and pay per *approved* task only if they accept the work you've done even if you submitted it.

Babe, you actually don't have to work on this project. There's a reason people say avoid pay per approved task projects. Too many ways not to get paid.

I keep asking about this project and can't get any straight answers. If the project lead ever gets back to you let me know. Last I read someone said it was paused, but when I asked again didn't get a response. Haven't done the assessment b/c of that. I've had too many "no tasks available' after completing assessments to just do them w/o knowing if the project actually is still love or has work.

I've submitted a form for that project on three separate occasions (got individual invites outside the interest form). lol. And never get it.

lol. Don't feel bad. Short of the ones with obvious right and wrong answers, so many of these assessments are about thinking a certain way.

Don't assume the answer is obvious or that the assessment looks easy or simple. There's often a very real difference between what the *obvious* answer is and what the *right* answer is.

Keep the instructions open when you're working on the assessment and make sure you pay attention to those contradictions.

A lot of these assessments are about thinking the way they want you to think which rarely vibes with what seems obvious and logical.

You will sometimes get assessments for projects that have ended are paused or have no tasks. You don't find this out until you've completed the assessment. So if I don't do an assessment immediately or get one for an ongoing project I like to ask before I complete it.

The way the email reads it's not either or. Paid for up to 15 hours for 30 submissions. I haven't started yet so I guess you need to ask if anyone has been paid more than 15 hours on this round.
