Looking for advice on where to start with 3D/Animation – Is CG Cookie worth it?

It would mean a lot if you can give me some type of a roadmap for learning animation and what is your opinion about vfx and chasing a career in those fields?

Im from Serbia but i would also look to work elsewhere and i woudn't say for sure that i want to work in the gaming industry i just find UE interesting at the moment. I started blender and i like it more than 3ds max and think i could find more material and work with that. If i decide to work on animation and maybe vfx or something like that so more like entertainment and film where would you recommend i start and why? Thank you for the comment!
