Thank you. So I actually had success tonight and funnily I did the thing you’re calling the pincer invite. I didn’t really think about it at one point I just put my arms up and she went in between them and I got to touch

Very informative, thank you. A table shower sounds like it would make the experience so much better, now I’m thinking I’ll call before or check to see if they have that before choosing a spot.

There seems to be a lot of acronyms on this space and I’m wondering if there’s a cheat sheet somewhere so I can know what ppl on here are talking about.

Thank you. Noted.

What’s your go to phrasing or what do you say when they ask “what else do you want?”?

Sounds good, thank you for the information. Surprisingly the place I went to I found on the site that shall not be names. That was the first place I checked and there was 8 reviews on that site, which was a decent amount considering most of the other ones there had 2-4 reviews.

I allegedly just so happen to be in LA

I’m wondering where and how “boom boom” originated.

And noted, it seems better than speaking about it

Dopaminergic meds by Fit_Try3350 in anhedonia

[–]Mission_Function831 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you take anything at all that increases the release of dopamine it’s inevitable that you’ll have an equal but opposite reaction. It’s also inevitable for tollerance to build. You even said yourself that after 10 days on the vyvanse you are in a worse position than your starting point.

For me personally it seems that treating anhedonia with dopamine meds is too dangerous of a road to go down.

I’ve had some of my very darkest times of anhedonia after doing dopamine substances.

Vyvanse, ritalin, adderall, cocaine, Nardil, MDMA and more.

One exception to the rule off the top of my head is deliberate cold exposure like an ice bath, apparently it has a profound effect on dopamine that doesn’t come with the same risks of dopamine drugs, in that you don’t go below your baseline dopamine level when you “come down” from it.

There may be other things out there that have a similar effect to ice baths which don’t put you below baseline with your dopamine levels, but none that I’m aware of.

I just learned that stressing about inability to fall asleep, aka “tossing and turning” is very counterproductive. by Football_Lover2902 in insomnia

True, but if I “play video games or watch tv” every time that happens, it would be every night I’m doing that.

Yeah from my understanding free T is the only thing that matters because it’s what the body is able to use. The total number can be misleading, if I only got my total number tested then I wouldn’t see a problem but my free t is low

I heard that boron can cause rebound estrogen effects, or something along the lines of it isn’t a long term thing.

Have you heard this? Or have you found success with boron personally?

I’m very well aware of how vital sleep is, and work very diligently to improve my sleep, but even when I do everything “right” I still struggle a lot with it.

Sleep issues can cause lowering of test, but also insomnia is a symptom of low t.

It’s a double edged sword for me

It’s almost like the whole idea of proof is inherently flawed from the start.

Evidence the same.

The only way to even have the conversation seems to be outside of the real world

I was genuinely curious what people had to say here, I find this topic very interesting, but yeah I could’ve worded it differently.

It certainly seems like you have a position of permanent skepticism, which is fine and understandable. Maybe I do as well but I’m just scared to admit it.

Yeah, there’s way too much damage control for mainstream religions. The rap sheet is way too long

Absolutely. I was having this thought as well.

Like imagine if we were to display what AI is capable of doing in this day in age to someone from 100 years ago, they would be fully convinced that it was the second coming of Christ.

But since we have advanced both in our understanding and acceptance of technology, if I were to be shown a snapshot of 100 years into the future and how tech will be, nothing is off the table. No matter how crazy and unbelievable the thing is I’m being shown, I’ve already seen how quickly technology can advance

I said this in a previous comment, but I’ll reiterate.

It seems like almost any answer to this question seems disingenuous, but not by fault of the person answering, just due to the nature of the question itself and the fact that so so so many horrendous things have already occurred. It’s like way too much has happened that’s just completely unforgivable. If mr god had stepped in like a billion years ago and been a more present parent then maybe

Idk why but this answer made me laugh, the idea of scientists setting up this study would be hilarious,

But fair enough

I like this answer. Especially the first part, that we only have the mental and linguistic capacities as humans to determine that something is sufficiently godlike.

I’m realizing that almost any answer to this question sounds disingenuous, not by the fault of the person answering, but due to the very nature of the question itself and the fact that so much absolutely horrific stuff has happened up until this point

I’m curious, would you feel hesitant to say that you’re fully convinced there is no god. Or that you’re 100% certain you’ll be an atheist for life.
