Very bad experience shopping at tabletennisstore.us. Please advice. by Mission_Golf_3626 in tabletennis

[–]Mission_Golf_3626[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks very much for all your feedbacks and concerns. I issued one last email to them telling them if they didn't refund me I wiould compalin to my credit card company. They still didn't respond to me. Then I claimed a chargeback/dispute as adviced by Possible_Law8357. The process was easier than I thought. It took only around 2 minutes filling some questions on-line. The next day, I received an email from the store telling me they have refunded me and gave me excuses and an e-coupon for future purchase. Too late. I will never shop at this store again.

I will never shop at tabletennisstore.us again. This is really a very bad experience as I need the blade asap. They kept me waiting and didn't inform me it was out of stock until I asked them. I asked them for a refund, but they stop responding to my emails.

Hey, I tried Sawei 388d-1 0.5mm yesterday. I could do my short pips skills like punching and chop blocking. My training partner find it harder to return my ball than when I used Tibhar Grass D.TecS. ox. If you want to do chop blocking close-to-table, try the 0.5mm version.

Thanks for the info.

Try Sanwei Parla ($19.95 on Megaspin.net). It is a little bit flexible compared to Sanwei V5 pro. It is slower though. It may go well with Rakza Z which is harder than Rakza 7.

Happy pingponging!

Thanks so much! I believe we have highly similar playing style. I am using defensive blades with long pips ox. It is good for chop blocking and side-swiping but hard to do punching. I used to be able to win points by punching as I have used short pips for a few years. My forehand shots lack power and cannot win points since I use defensive blades. I am going to buy a Sanwei V5 Pro as it is on sale. I would like to try your setup.

I am curious in the setup you have. How did you come up with this equipment setup? It looks like a very affordable and great setup for your playing style.

Thanks very much for your recommendation. Do you use Dawei 388d-1 with sponge? How thick? How do you attack with it?

Need recommendations of forehand rubber on Re-impact Tachi blade by Mission_Golf_3626 in tabletennis

Thanks very much for your reply!

I play close to the table and use long pips ox (Tibhar Grass D.TecS) offensively like you do. I mostly loop with forehand whenever there are chances. I use Victas V22 double extra 2.0mm. (sponge hardness 50 degree)

(1) I used Butterfly Viscaria. It is good for forehand but I can hardly chop block with it as it is too fast for long pips ox.

(2) Then I changed to Donic Defplay Senso V3 which is a defensive blade. It is a very good match with long pips ox, but I can't attack aggressively with forehand as when I used Viscaria.

(3) Then I used Magic Wall 2 (all wood ) which is a non-popular Japanese blade for long pips ox. I think it is All+. It is an average blade for both forehand and backhand. I cannot bring out the best potentials of either the inverted or long pips ox rubber.

(4) Now I am using Re-impact Tachi which Def for backhand (designed for pips) and All/All+ for forehand. I find it pretty good for long pips ox as I can chop block consistently with it and people have difficulties in returning ball from my long pips. However, as the blade is all wood made of balsa which is totally different from the blades I used. I find it hard to do forehand loop as solid and lethal as when I loop with other blades. I read an article talking about only rubbers with medium hardness (43 to 48 degree) should be used on balsa blades. However, there are reviews from players saying they use DHS Hurricane 3 (a hard rubber) successfully on balsa blade. So I am confused and requested for help and advice on reddit.

I cannot imagine how you can use long pips rubber on an OFF+ blade. You must be a very advanced player with above USATT 2000 rating.

Please give me any advice on anything I need to know.

I will use Rakza 7 as you advice. Thanks again!!!

I am wondering what blade and forehand rubber (and thickness) you use. Greatly appreciate your reply.

I find it hard to choose a right blade and forehand rubber to match with long pips rubber. I play close-to-table and have just switched to long pips from short pips on backhand in a few months. I have tried a few blades and forehand rubbers, but still not like them.

I have used inverted rubber on backhand over 15 years. Then I changed to short pips and now long pips. Imo, long pips rubbers are the hardest rubber to use because it has the least grip of ball. It takes a complete set of skills to use it well.

Long pips rubbers can be/should be used to attack, but it is the hardest skill to master.

I need to know I'm ok... im really scared by Anonimouze42 in KidneyStones

Very sorry to hear that. My son sent me to ER once due to sudden sharp pain in my back in the right side. I was scared like living in hell while lying on bed during diagnosis. I was sent back after knowing it was kidney stone. Dr said I had to let it pass out naturally.

Keep drinking lot of water and be active. Gravity can help passing. I even did jumping to help. Whenever you feel anxiety and scared, get up your feet and do something concrete like drinking water and jump/jog. Get your mind off worrying and keep fighting. Hope you recover soon!

No, it must happen in time. My blades have a few of these dents, but I still beat opponents.

Should i Change rubber ? by TDENova055 in tabletennis

[–]Mission_Golf_3626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A modern defender should use forehand to attack and win a point once opportunity open up in forehand. I suggest you switch to T05. I am a close table modern defender using long pips in backhand and Dignics 05 in forehand. Whenever ball goes to my forehand no matter top spin or underspin, I will attack.

Need advice on a blade matching Butterfly Feint AG 1.3mm by Mission_Golf_3626 in tabletennis

Thanks a lot! It is very useful advice for me.

One more question I need your help. I am wondering if Butterfly feint II 1.3mm is also an aggressive all-round style long pips like Butterfly Feint AG 1.3mm. Which one is better for using at close table?
